Thread: legendary Pages

Hello, on the server of Firefoot, my character, Masyaf, will be leading raids into Angmar, Ferochel, Misty Mountains, and possibly Eregion to gather Legendary Pages. If anyone would like to go, there are some requirements:

1) You have to be at least level 39
2) You have to fight, no slacking and making others fight for you.
3) Don't be greedy
4) Be prepared to die........

Those are the four requirements that you must meet. Leave a date and time in this thread that you would like to go, and I will try to make a full raid out of it. Thank you...

Have you confirmed that these pages drop when you are in a raid group?

Like all quests you will not be able to do it in a raid, tho a fellowship works fine.

These are class deeds not quests. Regular kill deeds don't advance raid groups. I never tested these class deeds. My expectation they will not advance because the items will not drop. I could be wrong. It wouldn't be the first time.

I try to form a full group of 6 for page drops. It is time consuming to get all the pages. The more killers, the quicker it goes.

well, yes, but i'll just be forming the groups but we'll all stick together cuz the Iron Crowns are not nice

These class deeds are probably the only non-raid deed that can be advanced in a raid group. Good to know.

mmmmmmhhhhhmmmmmm, i'll try not to have the same classes mixed in the groups, cuz it would take longer and i want to do these raids fast, but if i do then we'll just have to work it out

I'm pretty sure all Skill deeds also advance while you are in raid.
IMHO all deeds that don't benefit from being in a raid should advance while in raid ( mainly exploration etc)

And about raid page grinding: I doubt going in raid is more efficient than 6 man group.
When you are in a raid you might have the problem of killing stuff to fast and waiting for the respawn.
6man group should be able to kill Landscape mobs just fine and quickly without running out of mobs.

If you organise it well, you can have multiple groups grinding in different places and once somebody has all pages from that region they can move to the other group and vice versa.

You might even ask some level 75's to join if they need a slayer deed which makes killing go even faster.

Would not know. Never tried to advance a skill deed in a Raid. The only deeds I've tried to advance in a raid are kill deeds. Kill deeds do not advance. Neither do regular quests.

Sometimes when we are trying to form a raid group. We will start with multiple fellowships so that we can do our quests and deeds. When we are ready to go we disband all but one fellowship. Convert to raid group.

Raids are more efficient than 6 mans cus the places that we will go with the levels that we have. for instance, with a group of lvl 39's or 40's, going to Angmar or Misty Mountains will kill them in an instant in a regular 6 man. With a full raid, giants r super easy and drakes just die right off the bat. Also, u can pull in mobs and just go right through them, being able to collect the legendary pages and gaining a bit of XP at the same time.
