Thinking of doing a Char transfer

I'm on Gilrain but I like to be on a high-pop server, especially when I'm levelling.

Is there more chance of finding a group for lower-level group/instance quests on BW? Thanks

Hopefully they discount a Char transfer in the 5 year anniversary.

Not knowing what it is like on a low pop server it is hard for me to say whether it is easier or not. In my experience it is difficult to find a group for much of the content leading up to moria. You probably have a better chance on a high pop server but a lot of people on BW skip group content until Moria. At least in my leveling experiences that is the case. That doesn't mean you can't find a group, but I won't tell you that it will be something available right when you want to do the content. You can try the instance finder, regional channels or GLFF - you might get lucky.

Hi. On Brandywine checkout the Bane of Barad Dur kinship. We are a small kin and trying to grow a bit. Members have a few alts and we like to quest and group together.

I would say if you're wondering about the lower level group stuff....well to try it out with a low level dispensable toon? Just so you can gauge for yourself to see how you like it.

I've personally started branching out to other servers myself just to see what it's like. While my main spot where my primary LOTRO gameplay happens will always be Brandywine (and where most of my closest LOTRO friends are) I currently have two toons on Landroval now also. Yes, I know Landroval is lots of role playing and yadda yadda which I personally do none of. I do have my name white no matter what just because I know it looks better.

I can say that in the few hours that I've spent on Landroval....their GLFF is more worth my time to watch and participate in. It's not the same people over and over hugging and kissing each other with their tongues salivating and hanging out or the same guy asking if he's a good enough troll (yes sadly that happens on Brandywine GLFF).

I find it's not too awful bad to join groups here on Brandywine so long as you're willing to step up and make the group. There's plenty of people to group with but hardly anyone wants to take the initiative to actually pull the group together. Of course there's the times when you specify a healer and get a tell from a champion. *facepalm*
