    Can't purchase some items on one of my characters

    I've been using the store and it mostly works fine, but I've run into issues on one of my characters.

    I wanted to get a different mount, but when I go to that item, I get the no items for your character.

    I also tried to upgrade my vault space and get the same thing (my current vault size was 30).

    The character having issues is my 53 burglar, I have a starter mount via the quests and such from long ago.

    Other things work fine, Experience boost scrolls, crafting ingredient packs etc.

    On my lower lvl chars I was able to see all sorts of mounts (he was only lvl 25 at the time).

    Not sure where to go for help, (Note, you should have an easy to find link that lets you immediately ask for hlep when using the store, not have to sift through all sorts of things to eventually find it , (if I even have the right place for this type of thing).

    I guess ultimately what this means is Turbine in fact, doesn' want my money, and really shouldn't buy station store point

    It sounds like your burglar doesn't have the riding skill, search the store for riding skill, if it comes up, you don't have it yet.

    At this point if you are VIP, you can go to the horse farm and do a quest for it for free or if you are Premium you can buy it in the store.

    You can buy regular horses in game for in game gold/silver also

    As for vault space, any character can buy up to 120 slots in game for gold/silver or from the store, I am not sure why it isn't showing up for you unless you are trying to look at the store from the character screen. To purchase things for specific characters you have to log them in first.

    Yes I was in game logged onto the char in question. my vault was 28/30, said upgrade space, tried that and no luck. I then tried to search for the Vault skill manually, no luck, and not via the menus.

    Regarding the horse, I had a starter pony, permanent from the quest way back when I played before (the 60% one).

    I did the quests, but it was showing the riding skill available at the store, so went ahead and bought it as I figured, why the hell not . Still no luck showing any mounts. Note , I purchase the riding skill etc, (even though I had done the quest) prior to my first post on this issue.

    My other characters are fine, I've bought vault space and mounts on other ones I have recently created. So I'm thinking this one character is messed up some how.

    Thanks though for ideas. Is this the correct place to be getting this fixed?

    I've noticed some of my other characters that existed pre turbine store also have the issue with buying bank space. Yet they can buy crafting recipes and such. Mid 30s champion can also not add to bank/vault space.

    Is this the right place to be asking this , or did I miss the correct place to get help with accounts and the station store?

    Tyval,

    Here on the forums I am unable to provide Account Specific Support. However, hopefully these tips will help.

    The Riding Skill is usually automatically applied to a character's passive skills. However, it can occasionally be granted as an inventory item. It looks like a piece of paper with writing on it. Activating this item will grant the skill to the character. You should then be able to view the mounts in the Store.

    As for the Vault Space, try searching for "Vault Upgrade", as this is how the upgrades are titled. Additionally, you can bring up the Vault Space manually by clicking the following Categories in the LOTRO Store:

    Character -> Character Upgrades -> Vault Storage

    If after following these tips, you are still not able to see the items you want to purchase, contact the Account Support team directly (information in my signature). They will be happy to take a further look for you.

    Update:

    I was able to finally see mounts if I typed in Mount for the item (I had done this before with no luck, but this time it did work and was able to buy the goat type mount for Moria.

    My vault still seems messed up.

    I currently have a private vault size of 60 (via upgrading with gold). I have the next gold upgrade listed for 2gp and some change. If I click on the turbine store button to upgrade I get the message that there is nothing for me to buy at this time.

    If I type in Vault in the store, I get two things listed. Shared vault VI (I have been able to update the shared vault on this character), and the 1 hr vault services. So it seems something is messed up, should I know file a ticket? Would that be for support or a bug ticket at this point?

    Ya I have the same issue. On my Rk on Vinya Sithchean It give me this message

    This area of the Store does not contain anything for your character at this time. This could be due to one of several reasons including:
    1. Your character does not meet the correct requirements (class, level, etc).
    2. Your account status may already grant access to this category's offerings.
    3. Accessing the Store from the Character Select Screen will only show account level offers.
    As your character advances, offers may become visible. New offers are always being added to the store. Please check back often.



    I have 120 Vualt slots I payed with Gold. But can not pay with TP. On my other RK on Meneldor was able to buy up to 180 bank Slots

    You used black on dark gray. It is very difficult read what you wrote.

    Follow the links in the CarpeNoctem post. Contact Turbine account mangement. They will figure it out. There is a restriction on the purchase most likely level restriction. IMHO - It is stocking error. You will have to contact Account Management find out what the problem is. See if they are willing to get a store manager to change the item.

    Sorry about that Yula_the_Mighty. Before It was invisable to the readers. So I had to find a color that would work. I Pick the color that my reply to message Showed which is black and on screen showed White so I could not read it.

    Yes I am contacting Contact Turbine account mangement. Frist post they sent me was what your toons name class and Race. Then a reply are you sure you did not try to buy more Shared vault. Which dose not show Get more Vault space. I been max out for as long as they rased it. I am going to try to call today.

    Moving at the speed of light

    Sometimes I do something that I have done before and it should work but, I'm in the wrong place.

    I looked for the riding skill and horse bundle in Travel & Housing/Mounts/Standard page when I should have been looking in Bundled Offers. It wouldn't let me buy a horse because I didn't have the riding skill. I bought the riding skill and the horses came up.
