Helly was busy getting 5 stars. Your argument is invalid.
People don't respect stars, they respect how you earn the stars.
If you have 5 stars because the class you happen to play is overpowered and you run at the first hint of danger (see Helly running from the TR hotspot last weekend after he was shouted at twice.) then people don't really care one way or the other.

I am crestfallen when you need your playmates to stick up for you. Please, herald, tell helly that if he wishes to be man enough, that he should stand up for himself rather then having his hand up your bum talking for him.

Helly did it for personal accomplishment. I really don't see a problem with doing that in a game that Turbine has consistently dumbed down so much over the years. Minstrels ARE overpowered, true enough, and if you ask Helly he'll tell you the same.
Second, Helly and I duo'd to ~1850 rating one day before we even realized it. It was then he decided to shoot for his 2k rating, whereas I just don't care that much. Might as well point out he's done it without wearing any audacity also. Not to mention 90% of it duo/solo.
I personally find a greater challenge in any non-stealth class achieving a 2k rating without a group backing them up 100% of the time than running around with 4-5 WLs/Defilers in every group.
