The fact that Titanic is the number one movie of all time, speaks for itself.

Millions (or maybe billions) of people (including folks in our kin) love titanic!

And so to commemorate this special event, we made a special greeting to everyone:

Cameron cashing on the 100th anniversary and wanting to see if he can take the no 1 spot back for most profitable movie thanks to more expensive 3d tickets methinks.

Not planning to be *that negative guy*, but Titanic doesnt belong in these times. It was a product for the "innocent" 90s, when the wars were "good wars", the Russians seemed like totally cool dudes now, and the worst thing that could happen was bad weather during Love Parade weekend.

I´m not saying it wasnt enjoyable back then, it had the right mix of shearing metal and then-new CGI money-shots, while managing to keep ovaries ages 13-33 rattling throughout the overblown duration. It just didnt age well.

I tried watching it again with some friends not too long ago, and it was the wimmin that asked if we could skip the nonsense to get to the actual sinking. I´d personally have no desire for sitting through over 3 hours of that again and pay a premium fee only for 20 minutes of computer-generated 3D-disaster porn.

More likely the studio suits cashing in...

In any case, nostalgia from better days gone by can't be so bad. Puts a little cheekiness back into the movies.

I was brought to see that movie 3 times when it was out. The first time was great. Second time was cool. Third time was "gawd, no more please."

I shan't see it again but for this new generation, they should go see it. A lot of these old school 90s nostalgia Blockbuster flicks still hold resonance to today's flicks.

Titanic was an awful film, expecially in comparison to the far superior "A Night to Remember" filmed in 1958.

Why on middleeearth do you post that #### in the "General Discussions"-Section? Is it related to the game? Does Leo get stabbed by a morgulblade in this version?

btw, Titanic is one of the most boring movies Ive ever seen. On the upside, the movie is perfect for making out with the girlfriend ,-)

^^ This, I think A Night to Remember was infinitely better.

It's rather like how you should watch, say, Tora! Tora! Tora! rather than Pearl Harbor, and for much the same reason. No subplot (romantic or otherwise), no BS, just telling it straight.
