Okay, the premium wallet is really cool. At some point, I'm sure I'll buy it.
But, ohh, just sooo close to what I really *REALLY* needed and yet still so far....
I have hundreds of IXP pills. Like 400+. Maybe 500+? Thanks to the new U6 account-wide IXP-pill nature, new IXP pills no longer stack with the old ones. (Though we can now off-shore them to secondary mule characters -- Thank you very much!)
I just dread applying IXP pills. Click on the pill, select the LI, etc, etc. Picture doing nothing but that for hour after hour. (Which is how I wound up in this predicament.)
I was really hoping IXP pills would go into the wallet. You know, we could just click on the line, select how much IXP we wanted to transfer to our LI, and be done. Seconds instead of hours.
And those IXP pills only stack to 25, so it would free up ungodly amounts of inventory space...
Re: Premium Wallet - IXP Pills - So close, so far...
I'd rather see the choice to use or not use a server specific IXP pool but I certainly dont want to see something like that added to the wallet until they fix the account-bound server transfer issue.
Stack size should be 99 though, not 25. Clearly I didn't notice since my biggest stored stack of IXP runes is 25 ^_^

Nothing useable goes or belongs in a barter wallet.
Here's an idea ... use some of them.
Myself I vendor anything less than a 10k pill as I can't be bothered wasting time using it let alone saving stacks of them.
I'd agree with you that nothing-sellable-or-tradeable-to-other-players belongs in a wallet, at least for right now. Otherwise it would make putting things into or pulling things out of the wallet a bit of a problem. But account-bound or player-bound items like IXP pills? Where's the harm in that? "Useability" is certainly not an insurmountable programming problem. We use items in the wallet already... (Indirectly, but we do consume them.)
Just use these IXP pills up? Using them requires a whole lot of mouse clicking, time, and effort. It's worse than farming. It would be nice if you could hold shift down and use the whole stack at once... But as it is right now... Run the math yourself! How many can you use per minute? How many hours, nonstop, will it take to consume 500?
Vendoring: Yeah, it may come down to that. Or give up and start something else.
Less than 10k: Well, all those lowbie LIs we level to 11 and deconstruct primarily yield 5k-10k pills... Stacks of them do add up... Or is the point of this game to earn items and then toss them aside as the GUI interface requires too much work to make use of them?
@Crell: A stack size of 100 would help. But old bound-to-char pills don't stack with new bound-to-account pills, limiting such utility.

But But But. The game launched with this capability. The wallet contains Gold, Silver and Copper which can be mailed and traded to other characters. Gold, Silver and Copper is sellable. You post some ore on the auction hall wanting a specific amount of silver as the barter item (buying silver). Yula comes along and sells you some silver for that ore.
It would nice if I could post silver directly on the auction hall via a Wanna Buy ore order instead of having to wait for someone to offer to sell me that ore.
Unless stated otherwise, all content in this post is My Personal Opinion.
Re: Premium Wallet - IXP Pills - So close, so far...
All IXP pills that we collect could automatically stack in a single pool in premium barter wallet and we could use the amount of IXP we want on a LI from that pool. That would save a lot of bag/vault space.

Yes they do. Pull them out of your vault and into your bag. Magically, they're bind-to-account.
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

I concur 100% there cnrsnl!
To put this into perspective, converting my bind-to-character IXP pills into bind-to-account IXP pills saved me more bag slots than all my REP (premium wallet) items combined. (Though just on that one character. Across multiple characters I believe the wallet will eventually win out.)
It was like buying an extra vault expansion. (And yes, my vault space is/was already maxed.)
That's just from combining stacks of IXP pills. The IXP pills still take up a sizable chunk of my 165 vault slots. I may yet have to migrate them off to a mule character.
Using them is still a nightmare of hours of endless UI clicking... Surely there must be a better way... (And I thought clicking on hundreds of rep items was bad. But at least there we can drag the rep item onto a hot-bar-button and click through the stacks from the keyboard like we use skills...)
-Rusty.
ps. You know, there are a lot of Legendary Item paraphernalia that are character/account-bound that might also make sense to migrate to a wallet. Those scrolls to change a legacy leap to mind... Just a thought...
