He's gone.

He logged in a few weeks ago and gave me all of the DoF consumables he had stored on his creeps. Haven't seen him since then.

Consider the tournament postponed until GW2.

Dude, are you like the PR for GW2? I think the main reason you never shut up about it is because it gave you your first ever hard on.

Yes, and I'll be one of those players leaving for GW2.

I was implying that LOTRO pvp is a joke now. It's clear there's no balance to this game anymore, and the thought an arranged tournament between freeps and creeps is absurd.

The tournament would have been fun months ago, before U6, or before RoI even - but not now.

MMos take years to mature. Hence why TOR failed so hard everyone wants there quick fix.

Considering Guild Wars is 8 years old and still going strong, I'd say that sounds right. Iirc ToR didn't fail too bad, people just had some flawed assumption that bioware could do no wrong. For comparison it's doing alot better then AoC or Warhammer.

I am not disagreeing or bashing, a friends already pre-ordered me the game for my B-day and no monthly fee of course Ill be trying the game out. But I see some faces trying to overhype something, when people struggle so much in lotro to try and get something done, not sure how these guys are somehow going to be MMO gods in guildwars lol.

Oh, I agree with that for the most part. I actually play original GW presently as well, it's still fun. Considering the Arpg aspect of dodging in GW2 I have a difficult time imagining anyone being very good at it for a long time. There has been and always will be hype that far outreaches the grasp of any game, but having played it and enjoyed it I can safely say its let and exceeded my expectations.
