So having completed the quest at Ost Celebrant on my hunter, I discovered the reward is a bauble and it turns out to be the rogue/vagabond or whatever the one w/ agility is called so I'm thinking, cool, they give you the one your class needs automatically.
Next I'm coming through on my burg and behold, I get the might bauble.. so is this random.. based on class, race or what?
I predict another "oops" moment for turbine.. much like following Andreg around.
6 bauble's from 6 areas (limlight doesn't count)that are supposed to give baubles, (mender's does not currently drop but is supposed to come from thinglad). The order you receive them is the same every time
Main concern w/ Doron is he gets bugged out in certain spots, other than being an aggro magnet he's of no real relevance. Well I'm almost certain this was the only bauble quest I had previously completed.
It's possible my hunter did complete the Eorls quest line and just dumped the victor one.
Now I have to go back and see his quest log...
Thanks for the info Catisa, I'd really like to save as many quests as possible and only run the quest line I want rewards for. so if anyone else can provide info that would be great.
List of Bauble Reward by Quest Zone
so far:
Eorlsmead - questline for Vagabond (agility) hunter-burg
Parth Cel. - line for Victors (might champ/ward)
Wailing HIlls - line for Exempler (might Capt set)
Brownlands - line for Sages (will-fate)
Thinglad - line for Menders per catsia
by default that would leave
Rushgore - line for Martyrs (might-champ/ward/guard set)
Yes Will, that's certainly part of it. After all there are not that many quests that are just so good you really want to do them more than once or twice.
Also it's nice to have some easy level exp to go with ixp once you no longer need rep, and w/ 9 toons I don't want to waste that for the next time, level cap increase or whatever it might be.
One note, it appears to complete Eorls line you are sent to Wailing Hills for a short quest chain. Not a problem, just something to note if you are wondering why "what appears" to be the end of Eorls doesn't give the bauble. Won't spoil it further with further details.
