Had an awesome fight with Alzie's little group (I was running on my mini, Voltronius) versus Smegrat's little group on GV hill. Lasted probably over 10 minutes. Thank you for not calling in reinforcements.
We didn't stand in the bears thats where the fight was:P. Anyway it was a good fight. We had 6 at the time. There were some that came down from gv hill on and off but for the most part it was a good long intense fight . I enjoyed the fighting most the night.

Respectfully, I love a great fight, but when it last for 12-15 minutes with very few kills and the only thing getting knocked down is lots of power and morale pots, to me it is nothing more than an exercise in frustration.
Healing should not be able to indefinitely outpace DPS. Otherwise, what is the point of pvp?

You saw our group of 5 and turned around and stood in the bears. We said screw that and went to leave. You rushed forward to zerg a solo BA. We turned around to try to save him. You ran back to the bears. People came down from GV to help you solo.
Thankfully the only way we were able to have such a long fight was because Paka hits with a limp wrist. If Halrandas had been there we would have exploded.

Pretty sure you're thinking of a different fight or group. We were nowhere near the bears during the fight I'm referencing. It was 100% PvP. So, don't be salty just because you lost in the end. I was trying to pay a compliment to the entire entourage you guys had out there and pass some appreciation on for the fight we had. But clearly you weren't really paying attention to what's going on and you're just facerolling on your keyboard the whole time, which is what it felt like to us because you were the easiest target out there. =P
And now you're making it up as you go along because there was only 1 fight, our healing was freaking amazing and my facerolling tush was the only one to take only one death, the group laughed about how "Alzie's totally going to make a thread about 'thanks for the awesome fight' because fights where you stack 10k minis and run to npcs are the bestest", Smegs went for a smoke and your thread appeared. Then there was more laughing.
But you're right. Even though multiple freeps somehow knew to come to the bears west of GV, we didn't call you out. You're welcome.

Why are you on a defence? Cause you didnt have a zerg with you? We are complimenting that it was a tough fight. You were in no way shape or form an easy group to kill . The wargs that showed up in the middle obviously helped you guys out. I dont care. It is what it is , what it was from me was a break from the mundane fight and it was a challenge to heal through. If it was volt and another healer or me and another healer and no cappy , we woulda had a different outcome , but the 3 of us play together a lot and then u had the experience of eterne and synlas, as you had experienced players also. We had to strategically take u guys out . It wasn't just shoot to kill. There was thought in it. So when u guys get a compliment , you get defensive?
Take it as it is a compliment and a good fight. I enjoyed it . If we had died, I woulda still enjoyed it.

It's hard to kill creeps when your back is to them running with a combat brand. Replace Paka with Elkeon and randomgenericcappy with Gala and we would have been screwed.
I'm sorry guys. I should be more positive. Thank you Alzie for only flopping once and Paka for not hitting df at the sight of us. It's an improvement.

it was 6 vs 5 ... obviously math skills and normal observations arent needed in pvp . We had gold tags come down from gv that died pretty quick, you had wargs that came in after that died pretty quick. The two groups that fought together were 5 vs 6. Ours was not 6 captains it was a normal well balanced group make up of players that play together regularly minus the pug guard i let be in our group. It was a captain, 2 minstrels, a guard, a hunter and a lm. that was it. Take it as you want you're missing the point that it was a fun fight atleast intense and no matter what my outcome was if i won or lost i woulda still enjoyed the fight. You guys dont need to act like the world is against you every time you come out here. It's pvp, you kill , you die , you rinse and repeat.

Out of curiosity StickyTush, what was the audacity of your group? I ask in large measure because that fight was very intriguing how difficult it was for either of us to make a dent in the actual groups (not the gold taggers, the actual "Alzie group" versus "Smeg group", not the gold taggers). By my recollection Smeg's group was composed of 3 WL, 1 BA and 1 Spider (you). The other 2-3 recurring wargs could not have been in your group because of the relative lack of heals. The other BA was also not in your group, again because of the lack of heals.
From what I saw there was the freep fellowship of 6 +1 gold tagger at the end and the creep group of 5 plus 2-4 gold taggers (these numbers fluctuated as the ungrouped creeps were easily killed and it took time for them to return). But Smeg's group itself was tortuously difficult to put a lasting dent into. We would bring tush down to 2k, she would either be bubbled or healed back to 10k. Or we would go after the BA or a WL, again, same situation. The tipping point was the one gold tagger minstrel who arrived, rezzed me (the only casualty of both groups, not the gold taggers, before the end). Judging by the power loss of our group, I believe we would have lost if it weren't for that seventh freep who arrived. It was very close. 1 more minute without the seventh freep's arrival and the freeps probably would have wiped.
