    Sick of all these heroes!

    Dearest Landroval community,

It is heart-warming to see all these new kinships and such, yet everytime when I see one it is another kinship filled with tons of heroes, criminals and masters of ancient lore.
What I ask myself is; are there any kins with the idea of just creating the relaxed civilian theme.
With that I mean a true civilian theme, the lovely people who stay out of all those world problems, who's biggest worry is to get home on time, or if their wifes or husbands had a good day.
Where the crops still decide life, not the cold steel of blades and spikes!
So what I want to ask, are there any kinds who still hurdle around these, old tarnished lifes!

Ofcourse I'm not trying to offend anybody or their roleplaying's style!
Merry: "He doesn't look happy, does he?"
Pippin: "Not tae happy at all, Merry."
Merry: "Still, I 'spose the view would be quite nice from up there."
Pippin: "Oh yes, it's a quality establishment, I hear the staff is very good."

So this is kind of necroing, but I really like this idea! I mean, when you've been through the game (as far as you can get Free). It gets a little dull to do it all over again. To have a kinship that was mainly roleplay, with a few other things on the side, maybe an adventure or two, would be fun!

You might want to check out the Visionary March. Though not specifically non hero, they do have a focus that seems to be more towards 'quieter' RP involving the creation of art and text. I know the founder of the kin Roelyn plays some very down to earth type 'normal' folk with his characters of Roelyn, and Asiech Dully.

That's their kin site, where I'm sure you could find a whole lot more information and browse through the open forums to see if it is to your liking.

Visionary March is something of a mix, in that regard. While the primary focus of the kin itself is art, poetry, music, and storytelling, each character has their own reason for being in the kin itself. There is a pretty high concentration of "regular joes," though we do have our share of epic hero types, too. Neither type is really a stated focus, per se. I've got everything from an angst-ridden Gondorian soldier to a Dale toymaker on my own roster, for instance. The kin itself is all 'bout the art.

Asiech would be a good player to talk to just in general for that sort of RP, though, even if you decide the kin isn't for you. Feel free to friend my main, Megildan, and I can probably get you in touch, if you'd like.
