I have a tailor, and I reached proficiency in Master level tailor by crafting Guild items. But when I reached proficiency, I stopped getting any points for crafting, and will not advance to Artisan Master. I have searched online and found there used to be a quest, but I can't find an Artisan tailor anywhere, including Esteldin and Thorins Hall. Shouldnt there be one in Esteldin? Or is there a quest? Can't figure out why I am not advancing.
Did you do the quest for superior workbench proficiency? That will open up further advancement for you, you can get it in you starting crafting area from the apprentice master I believe. Also, if you want to focus on Tailoring, get the guild quest as well from the master of guilds. Both take you to Esteldin where the Tailoring guild is located.
Every level has 2 "anvils". When the first one is filled, you are Proficient and can work on the second "anvil", Mastery.
However, if you want to work on, say, Journeyman Mastery, you must first complete the anvil for Apprentice Mastery. Check your Apprentice and Journeyman levels; if you have not completed both anvils for those I think you don't get a second anvil for Expert and the Artisan tier won't open up.
