As others have said -- wish I could check RK separately for heal build and dps build, but I can't think of a way to effectively and reliably make that distinction with the data access you have.

It is able to record and compare some creeps stats too!
Nice job, +rep.
Yes, it is able to compare Creeps, just enter your Monster Player character name. Of course it does not display valid stats for which the Creeps have none, like Will, Vitality, &c.
It's a truly excellent tool, but the max recorded stats - on the low characters at least - seem to be being thrown off by lowbies with high level buffs/temp effects on them. Examples: my level 15 Champion's morale lurking a little under 1000 mark, whereas the max recorded is approximately 5000. Similarly, the same character's will is in the sub-100 mark by the looks of it, yet the max recorded is circa 900! My crit hit is 150ish; theirs 2400 ish. My resistance 750ish; theirs 4500!
I'm fairly sure that even the top kit for the level wouldn't make *that* much of a difference, even though I am lazy and never really start putting any effort into gear/traits until level 20.... I know she's fairly rubbish, but I swear she's not that much of a hollow corn dolly in battle!

The highest scores are often "outliers" that is, one player may have stacked "might" for example, to the exclusion of everything else, then logged in with that build buffed to the max.
Also, some low level characters are alts that get the best of everything from big brother/sisters-best teal crafted armour, best teal jewellery, best food, best virtues through being dragged thru/ or grinding al deeds, etc. so they will affect the average stats at low levels, too. (Peralda's main virtues were 11 in Moria, cause I 'grinded' them all the way up as i levelled-then they made zeal a must have for minis -back to the drawing board - grrrrr.)
FWIW, I tend to compare with the average, unless it's a primary class stat- then i look at the maximum achievable as a guide to aim for...while keeping my build balanced. Peralda was above average for these at 70 when i first checked. She was well below par two weeks later at 75 presumably as more raid geared 75's added their character stats. She's back to average now, as my gear has improved again, and, as more average players have used it. It's dynamic and a guide only.
Thanks for that, Calta - was reassuring to hear! Think I was just in a little bit of shock seeing proof of how some characters are super-human and, well, haha, mine are clearly not. I still have a lot to learn and the tool is a great way of judging whether I'm making any improvement (that, and not being hurled back to the stone rings o' doom when I overreach myself... Still, you never know if you don't try, eh? ).
Nice tool, but how come Maximum seen by your class doesn't get updated? I'm Pinalea from Laurelin and it says Maximum agility seen by your level 2576 while it also says Your agility: 2582...
Great tool! Just when I started wondering if my LM had lost his edge, I found the Statchecker. 8 stats below average, two times top of his class. Maybe some balancing is in order...
I agree that this is a great (and humbling) tool, but my suggestion would be to, in addition to the "Average" (mean) number for each stat, also have the "Median" value for each stat. A median value is less likely to be strongly influenced by a few extreme outliers at the top and bottom of the distribution, and gives a better sense of what value is in the middle of the range.
All I see is a list of my character, race and 3 or 4 other things.
How do you compare or view stats?
Do you use some kind of JavaScript-Blocker, like NoScript or NotScript or have JavaScript generally disabled? The Stat Checker needs JavaScript enabled to show the results; without JS it will just display the information you are seeing.
Would it be possible to show physical and tactical mastery stats?
Main: Tirnolwe of The Lost Companions, Laurelin (75LM)
Alts: Silithil (75CHP) Campion (75GRD) Alunadail (75MIN) Geirdis (75CP) Turbine no plans to fix MyLotro.
I'm impressed with the design of this tool, props to building it.
Oftentimes the data itself is too general to be of much for classes who might either have DPS builds or tank builds. The highs and lows are outliers that dont tell me anything on my warden and captain. This affects the averages too. I can check out my warden in this tool when I have DPS gear, and that'll just lower the average vitality wardens, making tank wardens looking at that avg vitality as some metric think they're better than they are.
Not that you have the resources to fix this. You'd have to categorize players by gear tier and gear purpose (tank vs dps) to make it better, than that's impractical.
EDIT: well I kept thinking about it and here's a not-to-difficult way to split up the might classes (who all might have a tank or dps setup) by build purpose. Take your current Warden, Guardian, Champ, and Captain data, right, and sort into two groups: Might>=Vit and Might<Vit. Call the first the DPS builds and the second the Tank builds. That initial split isn't perfect but it's something. After that force players of these classes wishing to view stats to select one or the other category to determine what set of data their newly submitted info should be stored in. They might need a prompt to make sure their type of build they currently want to view is loaded up on my.lotro.

Thanks for the reply.
I am at work (quiet spell), maybe works PCs block java.
Although some of the filtering seems to be a bit wonky. Are you filtering on class OR level or class AND level? I hope it's AND and not OR as I'm really not interested in comparing the Vitality of my Rune-Keeper with that of a tank-spec:ed Guardian.
Hmmm... There also seems to be a Burglar out there with 1900+ Will. I guess it's someone who got sick of the power issues the class have
Another thought is that it would be nice (but probably impossible) to differentiate between toons set up for the PvMP with Audacity armour and toons set up for PvE.

The filter is class and level specific. ie- minstrel at level 75, in my case. And yes they are some 'interesting' builds. Like the mini on Silverlode who seems to have traited exclusively for might at 2211 ?!!!
Hmmm, seems like my champ is way over average on morale and power but a little under on armour, ah well, guess I'll work on that when the servers are back up, COMMON, get back up!
Great Concept, my champ is Boss!!! Never expected that 1. But couldn't find my mini at all... "Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'Exception' with message 'String could not be parsed as XML' "... But still sharing with kin after maintenance is over.
Just remember, as a champion, it's my job to kill what's hitting you in the face

OK, tried checking at home and just cannot get anything visible other than Name (Silo), Server (Eldar), level, race.
No comparison or anything. Messed with settings but nothing. Switched off Kaspersky. Set cookies to off, lowest browser settings, no pop up blocker, java installed (no blocker).
Really am at a loss, it must be something really simple that I am overlooking.......
It shows my evade as 3869 but max seen is only 2590.
Should not the max be 3869 since I have it?
This is on Toon in Sig
I have noticed same for vitality stat from my warden. I top current max vitality, but it won't update.
I think author might have done small error with coding and does if not exist check against toon lvl. So if your toon name or id is already in database, it's ignored.
I hope that author gets bored again and fix this.
As usual, I'm late to the party, but I'm very happy to see that Catering laid in enough food and drink to last.
Seriously, this is the sort of thing that helps the more casual gamer, such as myself. I'll never be a "stat god", but I am gratified to see that I'm doing some things right for my classes, and that, indeed, my first hunter has serious flaws compared to the second one built.
+Rep, without a doubt. Telling all my kin about it, since a lot of us are in my boat. (And the tool did a nice job of pointing out a stat I should be putting more attention into on one character.)
Sauron has requested that we do not refer to Barad-Dur as the EyePad.
It really is a great tool. I can check every character I have except the one I want to check/compare of course. When put that character name in and hit submit I get: "Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'Exception' with message 'String could not be parsed as XML' <snip a lot extra>".
It really is interesting to see how on average I stack with others of my kind.
