I can't log on to Elendilmir right now. Is it just me, or are there others who have the same problem? This is the second day in a row it's happened at roughly the same time. I can log in to the other servers just fine. Well, except with Landroval I have the same problem...
If you are F2p then its because, f2pers will have to wait longer for logging in (first VIPS, then premium/f2p). For big servers like Landroval and Elendilmir it can cause in long waiting times or not logging in at all.
I can access Brandywine though. It started with my chat crashing and character not moving before I got booted off and unable to log in again. It's weird because Elendilmir's the "Oceanic server" and Oceania's sleeping right now. Server shouldn't be busy...
I have a similar problem: I can't log my Warden in. At all. I have tried 10+ times over a few days and I have never actually logged in. All of my other alts can loggin perfectly. I also don't get much lag, and I don't disconnect once I am logged in.
Other toons (Elendilmir): Lorespark Man LM, Sparkness Dwarf RK, Bowspark Man Hunter, and Leadspark Man Captain.
I've had many variations of this problem over the past few days. I've read around the forum and it seems a number of people are experiencing getting stuck, disconnected, and then unable to log in again, too. Dunno what to do anymore...
Anyone have any stability issues last night (EST?) I was on from 8:30pm through around 1:00am, EST, and I was getting broken red links & disconnects frequently.. Not sure if it was local or server-side.
It happened a bunch to me and a couple of others two nights ago. It must have been the client, because I had Internet connection and was speaking with people in ventrilo the whole time. I tried to get to the LotRO website in between the crash and loading the client and got a DNS error or something. I could do anything but log in and play for more than 10-15 minutes a pop and was in places as varied as Combe, Galtrev AH, and Draigoch (twice there). What is hilarious to me is that for the first time in a LONG time, I did not crash heading into or out of the Forges of Isengard daily instance.
I havent been able to access this server for the past 2 days and it has all my game data. I am able to access other worlds though. Lifetime account too.
it gives me this at the Isengard page: Searching for Logon servers, tries 20 times and says: Connection Failed: Client timed out the connection.
its not my firewall or virus scans. even tried reinstalling, no go. sent Turbine a ticket

Hmm.. For what it's worth, I didn't have any issues last night beyond a couple of lagged skill attempts & a hitch here or there, and I am one who's been having a VERY regular lag disconnect after being on for a while recently. I'm on the Atlantic coast of the US, so I'm not too far from the servers, relatively.

Reason: format
I'm also having major issues logging in, especially with my level 75 character. The others take a long time, but with the 75 it's almost impossible to get into the game. Not enjoying the huge waits. VIP lifetime apparently doesn't help.

For those that haven't made the effort (not passing judgement, just fumbling with the proper way to word that) to see this, the thing I've noticed with the extensively long log in (because someone else already said it) is that the client is "Not responding" for about half the time. It goes in and out. Considering it usually comes back and finishes, it would seem the "Not responding" isn't fully accurate, but that's how Windows Task manager sees it. If Turbine can figure out why some/(many? I think maybe) people are experiencing this issue AND why others are not, it will go a long way toward helping them diagnose the problems.. I must say dealing with the interminable log in is bad enough, but add to that when, for me, I'm in-game for a long enough time to have had need to port to a place or two, and then suddenly the client drops because I take a step or.. *GASP* attempt to activate an object or NPC, and then be forced to endure the log in AGAIN, is getting very old.. I've /bugged it many times, but not every time. It's getting to be too much of a bother..
