Runes-Keeper advice and tips(new to the class kind of)
So along time ago I started a runes-keeper! Seems simple enough. I stopped playing for awhile. Came back to the game and maxed out my warden. Now I am down to my runes-keeper. I want to be a good group runes-keeper but am having alittle trouble understanding all the traits and what not..and what is good for a runeskeeper and all. I want to be a healing runes-keeper I seem to do ok in groups nobody dies except for me. But I have a hard time telling if im doing a good job..when are there times not to heal etc. Its a big big switch for me since I have never had a caster class. I mainly been a tank or my hunter. So some advice would be very helpful. I am on a small server so I do not want to be known as the noob-keeper! lol The class is very fun though..!! ty for your time in advance
P.s: this may sound stupid, but was also wondering if there was a good way to organize the skills..and which ones you do not really need..there are so many..it clutters and confuses me alot :P so that would be some help aswell ..

The only thing you need to keep in mind is to NEVER, EVER listen to anything you see on the Rune-Keeper forums. If you do that, you should be ok.

I saw a screenshot of someone who had their skills sorted in a sort of 3x3 pattern divided into fire, lightning, frost and healing skills. I.e. the three left-most quickslots in the first three rows were fire skills, then came another 3x3 square with lightning. It seemed very neat.
However, my experience is that it's often better to stick with what you have once your brain has congealed on a set-up :P I rearranged mine when I hit 65 and I was the worst RK ever for two weeks...
Re: Runes-Keeper advice and tips(new to the class kind of)
As far as quick slots I keep single target on the number keys and 8- are my main heals. This keeps my most used skills easy to cast. If I want to cast other skills I still can.
Re: Runes-Keeper advice and tips(new to the class kind of)
Bar 1 is full of lighting with self motivation+calmiong verse in the end and heal/power pots.
Bar 2 is full of fire skills and wound etc. potions.
Bar 3 is full of frost skills with emotes at the end :3
Bar 4 is full of neutral affinity skils and leftover heal(rez steady hands erc)
Bar 5 is full of healing skills in strange-ish order.
Bar 6 on my down left corner full of everything else from maps to incombat rez(yes its strange...)
THIS totally shows that Rks need lesss skills. i dont want to have 6 skillbars open just to play smoothly....
I could have 7th skillbar open for mounts too :3
I could sure remove all my fire skills as i dont use them so much, but then i might miss SO many Kbs from that warg who i had dot on...

(Im mostly a clicker but handling with keyboard 1-8 and mouse 1-12 in moors)
Re: Runes-Keeper advice and tips(new to the class kind of)
I use gaming mouse and I have bound keys 1-6 to mouse buttons and arranged simillar skills in columns instead of rows, so I have access to them via mouse button + ctrl/alt/shift, which helps with kiting a lot. So 1-2 are lightning skills, 3 writs, 4 cold, 5-7 neutral, 8-10 healing and 11-12 fire. While healing or dpsing with fire I'm clicking as it don't have too much drawbacks then. Column number 7 is for less used skills while kiting like rezzes or self-motivation.
I've actually moved it around a little bit: this is pre-U6. Same basic principle though. Fire on the left, lightning in the middle, then cold, and then healing and... *ahem* "miscellaneous other cr@p" on the right.
While you burn at the stake, I dance with the flames. I take what you love and leave you in tears. I am relentless, unpredictable, and waiting for your last breath.

The only thing I had in a somewhat order were my heals..but even everything else is somewhat a mess..i can never find anything and must search for things in combat xD i def need to take the time to organize them.
they give the rk alot of skills ive noticed. I think the most if im correct

If this is true, then I should not listen to you. in not listening to your advice, I am taking your advice, which is precisely what you say I should not do.

There is a ton of excellent advice that has been added by members of the community. Keep pouring through the threads and you will definitely be able to pick out which posts are solid. You will also be able to pick up on the common trolls that post nonsense and hate for the sake of satisfying their own narcissist tendencies, assist with their lack of self-esteem, or lack of social awareness and social skill-sets.
