Heroes of Legend is a rank 10, casual, small but active kinship on the Brandywine Server whose goal is playing the game to have fun. We are close knit, friendly and easy-going and welcome mature-minded players of all level, class, and skill who love to group, quest, and help one another.
Currently, we have about 50 active players including a core group of level 85's. On any given day, we have an average of 5-15 people online. Kinship activities run from crafting, questing and skirmishing, to light raiding and fluff. We have a few members who pvmp. Kinship events are frequent and are posted on our website calendar.
We have an extended family in our alliance kinships: Legends of Heroes and Duin en Ruin. We are informally allied with a few more. It is our belief that veterans and new players alike can join together and experience all there is to do in our game in a fun and friendly manner without pressure or drama.

This is my first mmo and I have been soloing everything. I'd like to try stuff like raids and need a kin that is ok with a noob. My only current character is a level 57 hunter.

I just wanted to add that this is a great kin, I have been a member for about 4 or 5 months now and I must say it is the best I have been in yet. There is almost always at least one person on and most times at least one officer so if you ever need anything, even just someone to chat with, they are there. I have been through quite a few kinships since I joined LoTRO in December 2009 and I love this one! It is small but not TOO small. Just small enough that everyone can get to know each other but big enough to go raiding (which we do weekly) and of course to form full groups to do instances. New players do not need to worry either, even though most of us have 75's, we have NO problem getting on a lower alt or bringing the 75 to help out with quests or lower instances like Moria's for lower characters and we ALWAYS try to help new people, be it with gear or explaining the game altogether. And for those new 75s, we also don't mind doing walk throughs or just dying a few times so that everyone can understand the run. There is no such thing as not geared enough or not experienced enough for us. If your gear is not high enough, well help you get it there, if you dont understand the instance, well explain it. We know that everyone has to start somewhere, and we'd be happy to be the 'somewhere' for you!
Hey men of Heroes of Legend, nice to meet you. I'm Ancient.
I played a long time ago - albeit not very much - and am currently installing the game via steam right now. I'm looking to get back into an MMO. I'm 25 years old and very laid back. Lots of time to play although I do play a few other games as well. I enjoy tight knit communities and your kinship sounds like I'd fit right in.
Let me know something I'm looking to completely start over and re-learn everything on the Brandywine server. Not sure what my character name will be yet, but I'll keep an eye on this post for an update.
I know I only play for an hour or two a day at the moment, but I should be playing more often shortly enough. Still though - in my short time in the kin so far - absolutely everyone I have met and talked to seemed very awesome, accepting, and helpful.

I have been in this kin for about 8 months and it is a great kin. It is filled with good people who love to help. They helped get me geared up for the 75 raids when I didn't know what I was doing. They also helped me get into group content as I had soloed to 75. Everyone is friendly and I have never seen any drama.
It seems that we have lost a few of the normal raiders since the release of Rohan. We need some who want to come do the Rohan end game with us!
I am interested in joining your kinship on the brandywine server. My in game is Brandemir. I am a level 33 Guardian. I mostly play on the weekends and some week nights from around 7:00 till 9:00 I am in the central time zone. I am looking for an active group I am currently a member of a kinship but they are hardly online and I would like to find a group that will help me learn the game. I am new to MMO,s I have only been playing for about a month and a half so there is a lot I'm getting used to. I only have the base game right now but I will be buying Mines of Moria next once I get my level closer to 55.
