    Sage's or Mender's Set?

Which of the two rep jewellery sets have you chaps gone for? Which would you recommend, and most importantly why?

I went mender's as it gave a much better overall boost. I would have lost a lot of morale with the sage's set.

Although there is a lot of raw morale on the mender's set, I went with the Sage's earring and ring. Raw morale just doesn't stack up like it used to.

I think a warg with jewellery on would look a little weird and 80s, no? Surely if chewing on hunters is your thing then braces or something instead perhaps?

Nah just kidding, I'd go with the vagabond ones.

    Re: Sage's or Mender's Set?

Went with nothing of the two. Got 2 earrings from ToO, 2 moors rings and the map pocket item from skirmish would lose too much morale , tac mastery and crit if i decided to use any of the new jeweller sets.

    Re: Sage's or Mender's Set?

I go for 3 pieces of Sage's + 2 pieces of Mender's which gave me +93 will from bonuses.

I use to wear 2x Draigoch earring, 2x Band of The Codex from Attack at Down, and map from Mirkwood skirmishes. Overall I gained +5% offence in cost of 120 morale and 0.3% critical, good deal.

It gives +105 Will and +5% Critical Hit Chance for 20s. Says so on the tooltip of the upgraded pocket (Empowered Anduin Sage's Bauble).

I'm totally going for the Sage's set btw, since the pieces got crit rating and finesse, and it also got a nice chunk of will. (Don't forget that finesse is nice for groups too, as it ensures your debuffs won't resist. The sage's ring got 1k of it.) They got some morale too, and if I really need more morale/survivability for like in raids, I'll just swap in some morale gear here and there instead. And as Tarenius correctly stated, fate (present on the mender pieces) is pretty fail these days.

    Re: Sage's or Mender's Set?

I finally got kindred and started looking into this.

I agree that the Sage is the better set. Here are the numbers in case anyone is lazy (like me):

    Will
    Fate
    Vit
    Finesse
    TactM
    Critical
    Morale*
    Sage 409 32 64 1020 336 1008 361
    Mender 409 95 0 0 336 672 507

    * Morale includes Vitality

Mender does give an extra 146 morale and 63 fate. But the morale is probably compensated for by the extra mitigations coming from the vitality on Sage. For me, the extra finesse tips the scales in favor of Sage.

The balance is even more skewed towards Sage if you use only the ring and earring. I'm not equipping the bauble because the Well-Worn Keepsake is a lot better, IMHO (just swapping the bauble in for the occasional clickly).

I can see how some might like the clickly bonuses on the Mender, but it doesn't look that great on paper. If someone has a good experience with it, please share.

Finally, I'm planning to use my spare coins on the Martyr set. That bubble looks pretty good, although I'd be curious if anyone's found it to be less than advertised.

    Re: Sage's or Mender's Set?

Definitly worth getting both Rings and Earrings, there are no better pieces for these slots

The Well-worn Keepsake has been nerfed so yeah..

You can make up the loss in morale elsewhere, but those pieces are equal in stats to the best Orthanc/Skirmish pieces available and have the additional will from the set bonuses

It looks like you may have gotten off a bit on Tactical Mastery and Critical Rating for the Mender's set.

Here is how I compute the totals (including full set bonuses):

    Will
    Fate
    Vit
    Finesse
    TactM
    Critical
    Morale*
    Sage 440 32 64 1020 336 1008 361
    Mender 440 95 0 0 1008 0 507

My take on this is that the Mender's set is a better set to go with if you are still looking to cap your outgoing healing or raise your tactical offense (via Tactical Mastery). If that is not important to you, the Sage's set appears to be a better DPS set -- providing both higher finesse, Critical Rating, and stats derived from Vitality (Resistance, Mitigations etc).

    Re: Sage's or Mender's Set?

At last all 2 set are useless for debuff, induction and crit are useless for a Debuffer LM
For DPS i have chosed 5% crit cause the induction can't be a good effort on damage, at last you can gain like 0,5 sec max or less but the CD of the skill still be the same, you can't spam embern or other skill.

I think crit is a better improvement for lore master.
