Despite what my signature says, Im not leader of any kinship. Regardless, I dont think I would be very good at something like that. I was just pointing out how Meneldor doesnt have many events

Probably not what you had in mind, by my band plays out most Wednesdays. Usually between 10-11pm eastern somewhere between the shire and Bree. I had a thread in the player events forum awhile ago.

Races are alway fun or maybe some sort of sparring competition for those that like that sort of thing.

Yes, Blackheart-Fury has a good idea with the sparring competition.

A list of characters that want to be included would be a start. Have matches by level.

Anyone who wants to be included could pitch in a little for the prize, whatever that may be, other then being "the best" of Meneldor.

My kinship is currently planning out a tourney. It was intended to be in house but since no one is planning stuff we'd be happy to invite all of Meneldor to join. So far we have:

Sparring
Horse Races

If there is a band of musicians out there we'd love to have music going so please contact me in game or here on the forums if you'd be interested.

Sparring will have level brackets along with a champions purse, each bracket has its own champion. The purse will come from the sparring entry fees which vary depending on what level you are. If we don't get enough entries our kinship will make a donation to the purse.

Horse races will be held at both fields in what you could call a 2 part event.

We're still trying to think of a 3rd event to throw in so I'll come back and post once we have everything completely planned. Any input is welcome so share your thoughts.

The Journeymen will be performing a musical set in Bree this Wednesday, the 23rd, if anyone would like to attend. Details are in our Player Event forum thread here...
