Thread: cloak clasp...server first for Ark...?

Leafwalkers did saruman yesterday and got a clasp, one of our deserving raiders made themselves a cloak...so im wondering if any other kins have a cloak yet?

I think several people have clasps and got necklaces from them, not sure why you would waste one on a cloak and get 10 more morale or whatever it is.

I am appalled. The cloaks are such a tiny upgrade over the normal Draig cloaks. The necklace is a far wiser choice.

Clasps are rare as you obviously know.

If that particular raider had a necklace that was comparable/better than the gold necklace and/or didn't want the gold necklace for whatever reason, the same would not be true for 11 other raiders and somebody should've gotten a necklace(/large improvement to their toon) before a Draigoch cloak "upgrade" was ever considered.

Personally I see the necklace upgrades as the same scale of improvement...It's all about taste, do you want a cosmetic item that looks awesome and is very rare that you can see or do you want an item you cant see that ups you point whatever percent to a few stats? It's up to the player, this is a game after all )

Congrats - do what you want with the clasp.

For what it's worth, I would think upgraded necklaces/cloaks are still fairly rare, based on the seemingly really rare drop rate pre-update (we only saw one; haven't done it since the update due to lag and the Tower door bug).

Well the drop rate was increased to what 50 percent for t1 and 100 percent for t2? If people actually run it you will see more of it. We just dont see the value of running it really, its long, tedious, and not really a big accomplishment and the only real value is to unlock the armor pieces. As far as cosmetics vs small perception of increase in stats, this is a game of stats where little numbers make a difference. If you want props for server firsts, try doing something a little more challenging like t2 Orthanc, but I doubt cosmetics will get you past the trash.

Aesir got a couple of clasps a few months ago, necklace is a pretty decent upgrade 77 might to like 131 I think on necklace is a decent upgrade.

I am happy to say I got my clasp this past week!! (Yes I got that beautiful cloak!!) Thanks to my roll of 100 which is like the 4th one in my whole time of playing this game!! Thank you Chuck for your awesome leadership through that fight!! I also would like to thank the entire group of awesome players that helped me get it!! We did have a few new people to that fight!!
