    what you dont seem to understand.

    since roi, turbine has tried compensating for freep dps. in the beginning when no one was geared the fights were a bit bias toward creeps, once freeps got geared 3 of the freep classes really shined. as most of you know, these classes were the burg, champ, and minstrel. in reaction to this turbine released a creep buff of +20% overall dmg and i believe some othere small buff which was stuff that just didnt scale like the freep counterpart did. i hated the fact they just did a flat 20% dmg buff, but at the start it wasnt to bad. all the creep class populations just stayed the same so for my cappy i could still find the occasional melee fight. until, about 2 weeks in creeps realized how much better BA's had it so all the people that could afford p2w skills or ones who already had high ranked BA's flocked to the class. at this point i quit my captain for a while as i had no chance to get a kill. so i just went straight to my champion which was the only way i could get somewhat balanced fights. yes balanced, as any BA with MT and skirm stance can easily match up to a champ.

    now to my point, what i am trying to say here is you cant just buff one class at a time, or just assume a flat buff is enough for all classes. as you heard in this situation, when there is a oped class most will turn to it. making their counterparts (freeps/creeps) rather play their oped class. this can completely kill the want to play certain classes as some are countered very easily. i can almost assume within a month or two wargs/spiders will mass in the moors, killing pvmp squishy classes, even minis. this is because they almost always pack hunt, and most freeps will switch over to their heavy classes to attempt to have a better chance.

    now, im not saying wargs/spiders need a nerf. but what i am saying is to keep all creeps up to date, even if this requires somewhat hotfixing wargs/spiders so we dont have all creeps being extremely potent. as creeps usually out number freeps in the moors, so it will allow for more balanced fights. once we do come to a stand point when all creeps can be a decent fight, then you should buff them accordingly.
    ie
    r5-7=decent fight
    r7-12=formidable
    R12-15=TOP GAME

    just food for thought

    PS: YES, well geared freeps are oped, but not all freeps are well geared. any well geared freep should be equal to r7-12s. most other freeps should be on par with r5-r7. it only takes 2 days to get to r5, dont qq bout that.

    I agree that the "focus fire" buffing is bad because of the FotM issue.. but keeping creeps inherently weaker because of population unbalances is not the way of fixing anything.

    I'd much rather see the DoF have all the npcs taken out and allow both freeps and creeps enter it at the same time without any outposts. However, make it so one side can only outnumber the other by 3-4, and if you try to enter on the outnumbering side you get some sort of error message.. I don't see it affecting our current moors at all because atm DoF is nothing but a sad joke.

    What do you mean by "top game" exactly?

    I wouldn't mind my BA being a godly miniboss...
