Sorry for the very poor settings, just got home from work to see the last 10 minutes of the memorial. For those that missed it at least you can get an idea of what went down.
His one Daughter was actually logged into her Dad's spider Nidor and was on top of the rock, the family was also listening in vent to all the speechs and to the music that had been requested. His daughter gave a nice speech about her Dad and his wife told us all thanks.
Very touching and moving that this community plus people from other servers could come together Freep/Creep alike, to honour one mans actions and how he lived his life. This IS Brandywine!
Rienn I wish I could have heard more of your guitar playing, it was awsome to listen to!
i really wish i could have been there, but unfortunately i had RL obligations i couldnt blow off. from all the SS it looks amazing. so many freeps and creeps there to honour him.
EDIT: wow, chuha. i just watched your video, and it nearly put me in tears, especially the picture of nidor at the end. what a wonderful video, and a wonderful way to remember such a man.
it makes you realize just how short life is, and how quickly the good things can disappear.

I'm trying to get this brought into the spotlight so we can get Turbine to honor Nidor as best we can.
Send tweets to @JohnGaudiosi if you can about what happened. He is a special correspondent for CNN's Tech/Gaming stories.
If we can bring as much attention to the Memorial, Petition, and Rock Hill Herald Story about Bruce, maybe, just maybe, Turbine will start paying attention.
Valinor has gained a friend in Nidor while Middle Earth has lost him as a treasure.
I'd like to thank everyone who showed up, it was a fantastic and touching memorial. A special thanks goes to those who gave speeches, especially Evil for getting this put together. Rinen your guitar leading up to the memorial was wonderful.
Great Screenies and videos. Chuha's video had me in tears.
Very glad I was able to come to this memorial.
Though I didn't know Nidor, from what I heard about him he was a great guy.
Excellent speeches aswell.
Love from Dwarrow.
Just a video I put together of the footage i managed to get on the day of Nidors memorial. Thanks again to those that participated and those that were there in spirit.

Beautiful video, Linny. My favourite song was the first one ^^, and loved Nidor's annual Xmas light house at the end of the vid.
Thanks miss. Yeah I thought the lights at the end was a must
Definitely an awesome tribute Fizze, nice work. Your video of the battle on Nidor Rock at the end was awesome...Fireworks going off while the battle is raging lightning strikes, ents, beams of light...all well captured.
/salute

I frapsed the event and put this together. Hope you enjoy.
Great video mate, very well put together. you can tell it wasn't some rush job you put time and dedication into it, also I love the track you chose. I've only ever heard that song at the end of Gladiator, which is one of my favorite movies, and that just gave it all the more of an impact. Would of loved to have been there but I was never aware this even happened, RIP Nidor the only SoA spider who never burrowed and /stuck.
A very touching time indeed. Always sad when players fall. I did not personally know Nidor. I spoke with him once or twice on extremely rare occassions, but I simply do not PVMP so I never had the chance to know him.
Can someone explain why exactly you wish to call it Nidor's Rock though? Did he do something there in particular? I mean no offense at all... I am just curious.

Back when the moors was fresh and new in the days of TR/GV shuffles a bunch of us creeps climbed that rock and nidor could not - he spent a lot of time trying, so it became 'Nidor Rock'.
