Which you choose and why? I'm thinking take Sage's
Unless you're capped for outgoing healing at 50% - mender all the way. Should I ever pick up the habit of going to the Moors as DPS/solo I'd get a sage set for the occasion.
The problem is that right now it seems there's a quest in Thinglad that is supposed to give it for free ( as opposed to you having to buy it with silver/gold anduin tokens) just like all other baubles (sage, victor, martyr, vagabond, etc) are being given right now. If you do the right chain of quests in Brown lands you'll get the sage one for free, whilst as of now there is no way to get the mender but buying it.
If I were you i would get the sage on just because it can be obtained via quest rewards, and wait till they fix the mender's one becoming a quest reward. This issue has alreaby been acknowledged by the devs. theres a thread somewhere where Berephon ( a dev) says they're working on it.

Mender set is pretty bad if you ask me. The rings lack ICPR, the pocket lacks crit and so does the earring. I went Sage. I rarely use the pocket and use the ring only for PvP.

I agree. Mender set is meh. Pocket item lacks crit (we´re talking about losing 670 crit rating), ring is fine compared with sage but still lacking. Sage´s earring is better than mendrs (and great river crafted is still better than both of them).
Sage set is not that good for healing, unless you need Will. With a good gear you should be at cap easily without this jewelry; it´s a pity both sets go around just Will stat, would love to see a good set focused on morale and ICPR.
For healing i wouldn´t use any set, there are better options out there. For DPSing the sage one is a good option.
Also featuring: Saril, lvl 75 Human Loremaster, Dirgations lvl 75 Human Champion.
Phoenix Legion kin, Laurelin Server.

Woah, woah. What? What makes you say the crafted beats the Sage Earring? I'm curious because you were making so much sense before I read that! It is literally more power/tact mastery/mit and about the same morale.

I use a ring and earring of each set and just switch out the pocket item depending on what I'm doing. For group content, I use mender's and for Moors I use sage's. Seems to work out just fine.

Agreed, I started with the Sage's set then doubled back and picked up the Earring and Ring from Mender's. The overall stats are very nice and fill in the holes of the other item you replaced (ring picks up crit lost from earring and earring covers my former ring with vit/morale). Then you also get the 2 set bonus on the 2nd set.
1. Will
2. Vit/morale
3. Crit
(Items aren't showing on char page/wiki so i don't have exact stats)
sage all the way, for critt and stats. Mender is kinda useless since he give you raw morale and missing a lot of critt. I have both sets but only equiped the sage set and the ring from mender. Too bad the the mender bonus is damn good

I decided for :
earring from sage set
careworn earring (92 will, 61 vit, 650 tact mastery) or mathom tender earring (122 will, 92 vit)
bauble from sage set
wrist from roots of fangorn (126 will, 32 vitality, 169 moral, 336 crit)
wrist rep (92vit, 92 fate 328 crit) or great river wrist (63will, 63 vit, 110 icpr, 336 crit)
skirm ring (61 vit 61 will 61 fate, 328 tact mastery rating) or (92 will 92 fate)
mender ring
what is your opinion about this.
Do you think critical rating is really important for minstrel? I speak about a minstrel healer not a skalde ^^
when you add 600 crit rating you don't win a big % so I decided to focus on moral.
I would like to know if you prefere to use this setting : "270 moral 520 tactical mastery" or "7.5% devastate 130 icpr and 520 crit" ?
Anybody know if those os us who completed the Thinglad quest that was supposed to give the mender bauble before patch 6.1 ( and hence didnt receive it cuz it was bugged) should have now received it retroactively? Noting new in my bags when patch hit. Or at least, will they allow us to re-do the quest that was supposed to give it? Or are we SOL that we have no choice but to spend our hard earned tokens on buying it?
