Yes, you read that right. There are no reasons why they should exist. They're lowering framerate, causing lags, calling us names (!) and whats most important THEY ARE COMPLETELY WORTHLESS SINCE 50% OF FREEP POPULATION ARE MINSTRELS SPAMMING "SONG OF DISTRACTION"!
hmm if we had no creep npcs then we'd get rid of bas, reavers, weavers, defilers and wls too I guess. How do you like wargs? :P
Nah the npcs are needed for both sides since the outnumbered side needs extra support. Npcs can be useful for that, although the song of distraction is likely something that should never have been allowed in Ettens at all.
You'd be surprised by how many minstrels forget to use it though. Probably they're thinking another mini used it already, but it's nice when they do forget
Duskdancer, warg: If found please return to Gwairin, lvl 65 hunter in Evernight
Dawnsinger, warg: Currently working as police dog in Moors with the Angmar Inquisition
Song of distraction is allowing freeps to bypass nearly all npcs in keeps, particularly in TA.
Not only can they prevent npc from being pulled with the Tyrant, they can actually run around the Tyrant room and not pull anything because of this skill. It needs to be disabled in the moors.
Just yesterday I saw freeps literally brushing up against the npcs without pulling them, ridiculous.

True, but that fact makes it so much more fun when a mini forgets to use the skill and pulls npcs. Just the shock of the npcs actually coming also many minis forget about not using AoE skills, so standing near npcs and allowing an AoE to hit you really does the work too :P

perhaps, but im getting as bit tired of getting kills only by the grace of freeps' own stupidity.
Basically most of the time we can only win because freeps shoot themselves in the foot, sure it is funny as hell but a bit of a hollow victory at the end of the day.
Or, orrrrrr give defilers a distract so they can do the same and watch the tears flow. Much better idea. I mean, don't quote me but a capped audacity guardian/WL are just going to waltz in to enemy npc's and call everyone names whilst prancing away.
Win/win either way.

I'll admit that I sometimes use distraction on creep npcs...but that said, I feel it should be removed from the moors. There's a few freep skills that should be removed or changed during PvP, like bubbles and self-heals.
And some creeps. Most of whom shall remain nameless
