Thread: Update 6 : What did you get from your LootBox

lvl 70-75:
3 Tomes: Max-Morale +360? for 1,5 hours

100 gold (3 offers, took the first one even though others were higher)
Oh wait, you mean OPEN the failbox?
Over 3 boxes I got a title, 15 morale pots (t7), two rez tomes, and a t4 dread removal.
And people wonder why I sold...

Only had 1 lootbox and lucky enough to have picked up a key before hand, got 2 revival tomes out it.

Wouldn't pay for a Key ever!

After u6 came
First: 4x revival
second: 2x dread removal

not OK :P

3 top tier lootboxes so far.

1: Housing item birdcage. (Bought key for 100tp)

2: 20 store power pots. (Bought key for 9g on ah)

3: Orc-hewer II, dragon-slayer II LI titles. (Bought key for 12g on ah)

I'm a sucker apparently. :/

So it seems my drop of one revival scroll is still the best worst lootbox ^^

Especially on an Immortal Warden, a bit like dread removal on a mini.


Anyways can we please, please get a dev response on this? Are boxes really working as intended right now? Granted first agers should probably be removed altogether from the loot table but it wouldn't do any harm to remove the rubbish dyes/revival/dread removal/flower pots and replace them with ixp/tier7 sets/worn symbols etc etc.

So opened one now after the servers came back up after hotfix just incase incase, It seems to be at the exact same place as prior, 3 +1 hope for an hour thingies and 2 of those storebought +4 token thingies 70-75 box, better than the mammoth tusks in the 2 previous ones but still not worth the bother

Doesn't the store sell both hope (in both DP and Token form.) and dread removal? ; Please clarify which +4 token thingies. (Tokens of Freedom? Hope Tokens?) additonally, was that all one box? Please clearly indicate 1 box per reward grouping.

To clarify it even further as requested : 1 Box 2x Tokens of freedom 3 x tomes of continuing hope both storebased products, Box dropped from mobs in the ring of isengard, key was from store

I opened a level 70-75 box and got a stack of 20 lvl 65 store morale pots and two of the level 32 defeat dread removal tokens. Box dropped in Brown Lands repeatable, key dropped...somewhere prior to U6.

A guy in my raid group got a WSotEK from a box since update 6, I believe he said it dropped in Rushgore. Dunno if it was a 70-75 box or a 75-75 box, or if the key was store-bought or what.

I had a couple of boxes and will try to be as accurate as memory allows (which might not be too accurate, however^^).

1) lvl 10-19 box: 1 Braclet of the Fox - (dropped in Midgewater Marshes)
2) lvl 30-39 box: 1 Poleaxe of something - (bought from AH for 1g)
3) lvl 30-39 box: 2x5 scrolls of morale boost (i.e. + 262 max morale for 90 mins each) - (bought from AH for 1g)
4) lvl 70-75 box: 30 x regenerative food t7/1 (yeah!) - dropped in heathfells
5) lvl 70-75 box: 1 purple flower-box (don't remember where it dropped) - clearly my personal favourite

Never had any key drops - so all were bought from store.

I sill have 1 lvl 60-69, 2 lvl 40-49 and 1 lvl 20-29 box but no toons in the required lvl range - but I guess I won't spend any more TPs on keys for the time being as those items were really quite disappointing.

Having said that I want to add, however, that I have been very lucky with one 70-75 box which had a "Worn symbol of the Elder King" and some T7/1 power pots - this was with 5.2 though. So I have no real reason/right to be disappointed - well, but still.....

Boxes contents are set at creation. Therefore. it seems only self looted boxes are the only way to be sure and real data about the 5.1+ loot table.


I'd suggest only dealing with people you know personally when buying boxes.

Thought I'd open some more just for curiosity (still have a bunch of keys):

Many of the Under L60 boxes I opened prior to U6 had reputation items. Interesting that not one box had any nor any jewelry and now there are lots of Virtue items....

I always get revival tomes.

Post update, two boxes, both found -post update- (Sapience tried to pass off the upswelling of junk drops as people opening older boxes, found before the fix which now seems to have been rolled back). Keys passed to me by a friend who had found an excess.

Both boxes level 70-75,

Box 1: 2X Orange Flower Bed.

Box 2: 10 t7 morale pots.

I opened my first post-U6 box tonight and got...3 tomes of vigour ( a buff to morale).

Pre-U6, I've gotten 2 boxes. One contain morale pots. I can't remember what the other contained, but it wasn't anything really useful or interesting.,

Not bad in general, though I already used that particular stat tome. Maybe my alt can use it someday...

P.S. Yes, Crell, I opened that one I had after Sapience said the content is generated when box is dropped.

Opened 3 (70-75) boxes on my captain earlier this week.

1st box: 1 Revival Tomb

2nd box: 2 Revival Tombs, 1 Token of Freedom

3rd box: 1 Token of Freedom, Lossoth Smoking Tent

Yeeeeeesh.

Opened 1 (70-75) box pre-update 6 and got the red skeleton mount, 1 piece teal jewellery and an ixp rune.

I got the Dark Cleaver and some other useless item that I couldnt even vendor.

Note to self: Dont EVER spend TP on a key just to get junk like this again.

I got a cosmetic backpack and a token to remove 4 Dread yesterday.
Last week I got 35 T7 Store Power pots.

These were level 75 boxes. Won't bother wasting any more keys until they fix this at the risk of no longer being the only one I know in my kin who hasn't yet been blessed with a Pest Hewer scroll from a lockbox...

Very anti-climactic.

Since I had a key laying around, I opened a Lvl 70-75 box yesterday that I had drop in the previous half-hour. It contained 1 Fused Copper Relic, and 20 Regenerative Food (Tier 7)

The food is lvl 60, and the relic will give me tier 2 relics, so I did /bug it.

Sapience posted in another thread that the contents of a lootbox are set when it drops, not when it is opened. As a result, any fixes to the loot tables won't change the boxes you have in your possession as of now.
