Thread: Warg bug

There's already an imbalance in the ratio of freeps to creeps most of the time in the moors, there's no need for wargs to use the bug to burn people down.

I didn't use the counter defence/addle exploit and the person who's doing it right now is only going to draw attention to their warg.

Here I thought they got rid of the burg bug... and it's back, now there's a warg bug involving instants? nice.

Was not aware of such bug. Interested in finding out more pst.

I don't believe this has been labeled a bug yet. The tooltip for the skill (and I am assuming you are talking about the lack of BPE from some shadow stance skills) says that the particular 4 skills will act as if they came from stealth. One of those perks of "from stealth" is a lack of B/P/E. Unless some dev has commented on this and I am unaware I would not classify this as a bug yet.

Look at Vital Target/Steadfast Barrage for example.. there is no B/P/E on either of those either.

We don't know if this is even a bug like Rash said. It could be WAI. Also, EVERYONE uses Shadow Stance. I don't think anyone is going to drop a whole stance (especially noobs who don't have Flayer) because a few people thinks it's a bug when it might not even be.

and it's only two skills. Bloody Maul and Bestial Claws, Swipe and Eye rake never could really be BPE'D in the first place.

I assume by warg bug in relation to the burg bug, he meant the stacking of crit skills from stealth in the matter of seconds... the whole attacking from stealth and negating all b/p/e seems to be WAI.

That's bad enough but no, it's actually a way of shifting stances in mid combat which is not as intended.

Huh? You mean dropping a stance waiting ten seconds and hitting another? I mean unless there's an exploit where they can do it back to back, during that 10 seconds wargs are pretty much losing both survivability and damage. Champs can stance dance, burgs can stance dance, hunters can, guards can, and even Blackarrows.

i wouldnt worry about it too much pibb, ive seen you do some similar things. before you start accusing others look at yourself first.

I usually dont comment on utter nonsense like this but damn.... if you think switching stances mid combat is an exploit then hell all the minis, hunters, guards and champs that have done over the past 5 years should be reported immediately. But then again it doesnt really matter what you think, does it?

I did not "stance dance" at all during the time which pibb refers to.

Flank nailed it on the head... I was only using bloody maul and bestial claws. So if those 2 skills are an exploit Im guilty as charged.

In regards to stance dancing from shadow to flayer or no stance to flayer... the devs feel this is WAI, they kept the cds on stances 10s (pretty long)...

So your still accusing me of stance dancing? I start in shadow stance in stealth and I am in shadow stance throughout combat. I try and stay off these forums because of potential conflict. I'm honestly stating the truth.

that picture does not prove he was in flayer stance since both stances have the same icon. unless im missing something in the picture it does not say flayer anywhere. looks like he is most likely in shadow since you dont have the second icon showing the flayer bubble.
all i see in the other pictures is people winning about how they got beat by a warg. ive noticed since the update im able to beat minis with ease on mine. just play the game pibb. you got beat get over it!

time to get more audacity. then when wargs crit we will still be alive.

its just epic, and fits style of wargs, BUT wargs shouldnt have any escape/panic skills if we can do that kind of damage.

That would be because burgs cannot switch stances while in combat...

If you're referring to the counter defence and addle bug, it doesn't work anymore. Players using this exploit got the ban. Seem familiar mr. kingofblackarrows?

As long as I remember turbine has left at least 1 major burg exploit/bug in the game. Whenever they finally fix one they make another..

I can't respond to the questions above as

1. i've never played against a burg ( or any freep for that matter)

2. This post was to confirm a bug which has been denied my multiple people. I'm sure if you knew of a burg bug in which you knew a burg was using it, you'd call them out on it as well.

The bug isn't swapping stances... it's still having the benefits of a stance when you toggle out of it or drop it... kinda like champs dropping fervour with improved flurry, and still having flurry active for a short duration. Anyway, there are still many things left broken in U7, that are more detrimental to pvp imho (melee combat in particular)... like the F'ING U6 LAG TURBINE!

glory champs can pop out of glory and still have the exulted combatant for 45 sec, but i didn't know fervour champs could get the flurry when they dropped fervour.

You get it for a short duration after you drop or switch stances... same thing with 'improved exchange of blows'... except it turns into the ###### version when you switch out of glory (it only reflects on common dmg at 50%)... let's just say Turbine has a few kinks it needs to work on in regards to stances... but given the amount of times I've reported the bug regarding Swift Blade and the power reduction on our rune not WAI... I don't expect them to be fixed in a year... at least a year.
