    Thoughtful Friend title

I found this by accident, guess it came with the update? And I don't see any info on Lotro-Wiki or anything

In Zudrugund on Nar's Peak, Frithgeir has a big list of repeatable quests if you are 65+. One seems to be new, I can't recall the name and I believe its marked level 72.

Without spoiling, he sends you to do something trivially easy, and boom....I got the Thoughtful Friend title.

Just a heads up! sorry if its old news

Thumbs up Re: Thoughtful Friend title

    It is new.

The name of the quest is Concern for a Friend, and it is level 72. It gives iXP and the title, like you mentioned, Thoughtful Friend.

It is a new quest because of the conversation we had with Saruman in the Epic Book so it is a follo–up on our side to resolve the lies presented to us. It is a nice touch on Turbine's side, and a nice gem title. As the title states it:
Concerned by the words of Saruman, you took it upon yourself to check on Nár and Frithgeir at Zdrugund.
    Nice find.

It's been a while since I did the Epic and I don't remember it well enough. :-( Would you mind explaining the purpose of this new-ish quest again in detail and how it's related to the Epic? Thanks!!!

Thanks for sharing this. I think I had actually checked this once upon a time, but from the quest text it looks like you have to have parted with the rangers before it's available (or maybe the text changes based on that?). Anyway, +rep!

While you were imprisoned in Isengard and had an audience with Saruman, he boasted to you that under his orders Nar was killed and that the Dwarf had one last moment of sanity before his end. Since he was a likable character, people were swift to express their sorrow and the forums and the Devs were quick to confirm that Saruman was lying and Nar was perfectly fine. This quest represents the same concern in-game: if after parting with Rangers in Grawenwood one chooses to return to Nar's Peak, a small quests assures you that both Nar and Fritgheir are indeed perfectly fine.
