    Question What Driftclaw ??

    In a hunter quest I'm supposed to find a Driftclaws razor sharp clar at the needles point in misty mountains. But the only thing I find here is Giants and Bears. I don't understand what to do here. Is there something that is needed to do first as a requirement for this driftclaw to spawn? I only see Giants Bears and Mammots where it's supposed to be.

    Also why do I only revieve 50 points for defeating such a difficult creature as a giant? I can get more than 200 points for something less difficult.

    XP you get has to do with your level in relation to the mob you're killing.

    As for Driftclaw, he's a bear. If you use your tracking skill, you should find him. Or roam around the Giant's Needle, you'll notice a huge bear named Driftclaw.

    ==== SPOILER WARNING====

    As I remember it, the Giant's Needle is set at the bottom of encircling cliffs. Driftclaw is on top of the cliffs in the northeast quadrant.

    Comparing the terrain to an analog clock face, with the Giant's Needle as the center, Driftclaw starts at the cliffs edge halfway between the center point and the outer edge (numbers). He moves from there to 1 O'clock, then toward 3 O'clock along the outer edge. Driftclaw then moves back into the middle, along the cliff edge, to return to 1 O'clock.

    He is easiest to fight when he is returning to 1 O'clock. He's far enough away from others to prevent additional aggro among the giants and bears in the area.
