After all our wonderful updates and changes that have given us superpowers, I decided to just write this out of boredom, although I'm sure many of you know and play like this anyway.
1. Go to a well traveled area such as the bottom of STAB, EC side, and sit on the side of the road in camouflage.
2. If you want, some people don't like doing this, you can pop out of stealth every once in awhile and set traps at the foot of STAB.
3. Wait until a creep walks by, I wouldn't recommend taking on more than 1 or 2.
4. Hit the creep you want to kill with Distracting Shot, then while he's down just to annoy him and burn his health quickly, pop Burn Hot and hit him with HS while he's under the daze.
5. After that keep hitting him with Quick Shot to slow him down then kite him.
6. ???
7. Profit
So, yeah. This is a good way to take creeps down. I don't recommend taking on more than 1 because the second one can really bugger up your kiting.

Aha, +rep to you! I don't do that though, I like to fight fair.
I am not quite sure about the PVP on your server, but there is no such thing as a fair fight with creeps on Riddermark. Even the 1v1s are subject to being ganked repeatedly, and condoned, by the creeps....

On Imladris, if a creep singles out a freep and tries to repeatedly engage him in 1v1, everyone else backs off and watches. Usually.
Sometimes there's that one greenie that runs in trying to gank the losing side. xD

why not actually level a Hunter to 75 and go out in the moors and practice your <giggles> tic-tacs for a week .. then come back and tell us how you did ... m'kay ..oh, and you might want to edit your post .. Hunters didn't get any specific updates in U6 ..but I really wouldn't expect you to know that... lol...

On Imladris, most creeps don't have/use brands. So, I don't really run into that problem.

Just because you can't win with this strategy doesn't mean no one else can. Hate to bring you back to reality, but there is more than one play-style in PvP.

Tehe, yea that strat wouldn't work on Dwarrow unless it's a croob.
Creeps are always carrying pots here, croobs are a different story however.
In fact, majority of the hunters on dwarrow aside from 2 or 3 who use the fear first, start off with Distracting Shot that I've actually started prematurely setting off my pots just to see ''Immune'' pop up on my screen. Quite hilarious to see a hunter not know what to do when that happens(:

You seem to be intentionally obtuse on this issue. I know you enjoy your warg. Why wouldn't you. They're in a much better place now than before. What I would ask you to do is actually level a hunter to 75 and try your strategy out. It just makes you look somewhat naive talking about a tactic that has no basis in current ettenmoors gameplay. Heck, even other creeps are laughing at you and your naivete.

All I see is that any skilled hunter should be able to burn a creep down before the creep blinks given the current balance.

I do like my warg, pre-RoI and post-RoI. And I did level my hunter to the cap pre-RoI, then I shelved him. From what I understand, we haven't received any changes, so why would I need to adjust my strategy?
How about you go try it before criticizing it.

Really? You don't see your opponents abilities and tactics changing as a reason to reevaluate your own? Weavers and Wargs have changed in a big way, not adjusting your tactics accordingly would be a mistake.

You don't have to change it radically though, the basics still apply. Unless they got a major revamp, or a new skill that completely outmaneuvers anything you can do.
Once again, this is just one play-style. Contribute your own if you want to.

Pathetic response. Those are only possible in red line with BH probably on and imp focus as well. Might look real good on a stat board or bio, but never gonna happen against a creep with half a brain or half mitigations.
Don't whine about things that never happen.

Wasting any time on your IF w/ dazing an opponent is useless. Much better to start off with a swift bow -> blood arrow/pen shot spam then slow the target once he realizes whats just happened. If its a warg, fear it, if its not, daze it then with a dazing blow to waste their stun pot and if they escape later on (assuming they've tanked most of your hits) distracting shot and catch up. Dealing with wargs is another matter completely if they catch you with no focus/stealth off however. I usually start with a fear, NH and BH up and then start off the same combo as before, working in scouring/barbed arrows for focus and instant shots. That worked for me 75% of the time pre-U6, its down to like 60% since warg stances have severely upped their dps and survivability.
Oh, and if you're gonna solo, put on Heightened Senses.
Sit at ec/stab.. Focus fleet / nh focus pot focus buff SB Blood arrow pen shot - You have earned 180 Renown. You have earned 90 accomedations. Rinse/Repeat. This works well, if you don't believe me, make 45k in one day like this. VERY EFFECTIVE
Some rules - Be sure to target wargs spiders and low rank reavers they tend to die fast. Go for anything under 10k. R0 Spiders only require Swift Bow to kill them. If you go for anything above 18k they will probably get away.

Audacity deleted this advantage. When comparing classes you need to compare on the same basis. You as a spider should have more than enough tools to tackle a hunter in every situation. This might be because I got the hunter insight, I think of these things all the time.

Even with audacity I still kill fast it doesn't feel like my skills have been nerfed that much with audacity

30% reduction is 30% less damage. As said you have to take in accoutn the same level. I am at 25% right now. Cutting this off my DMG is huge. As stated before, the #### will really start to hit the fan when your regular opponent ranked it up himself.
Of course you can still farm the lowbies and newly created freeps ans creeps. Well that is awesome PvP.

I wouldn't bother with Distracting Shot, it can be potted for heaven's sake.
My order is Focus, Triple Shot, Blood Arrow, Penetrating Shot.
Barbed Arrow with slotted extra slow effect to ensure the creep bleeds & fir further as necessary.
I don't use trap either, I use Snare
Hitchens(r9 warg), Glasgow(R9 LM), Branywine server.

Well said. If hunter gets the drop via stealth, our chances are pretty high to win. If we get jumped, we're likely done. If it starts out even, it goes down to skill, audacity, and timing. If its a BA, they'll pop MT anyway, and you mine as well just check out and go grab a drink. 30s duration is killer with how much DPS they have. But on the flip side, it doesn't even effect tactical-god-mode minstrels.

Good one. Or 7. I especially liked #4. Might want to include make sure you focus up just before using Distracting Shot, for the extra damage.
For me at least, sitting in camo waiting is really boring, especially when the Moors seem empty most of the time.
If I'm pvping, I want real action; hence why I'm staying premy and going out on my spider.
