Thread: Creeps how goes it?????

You liking your new toys? Not liking them? Feel more/less survivable? More dps/less dps?

Audacity coming into play? Does the audactiy grind seem manageable or insane?

Only one day in I know but was curious what you guys thought.

Overall, I would say I'm pretty happy with most of the changes, especially to the reaver class. I can't say I'm not happy about having a basically new and banging aoe skill that also does damage to npc's, and with the revised aoe class trait making all of our aoe skills capable of hitting 7 targets. Especially with the changes made recently to the game, this definitely shines the light on reavers as being the true moors aoe dps class, much like its counterpart the champ (if only we got an amazing bubble too).

As for the other creep classes, I've heard mostly good things, and mixed opinions of course about certain changes made especially for the warg class. I don't personally have a warg, but from high ranked and respected creeps that i've spoken to who have wargs said the changes were overall beneficial.

Since it's still only a day after the update, it will take a while to get comfortable with things and get settled in, especially with the freeps having all new content and I'm sure new gear to get as well, so I wouldn't go ahead and assume that the current freep/creep battles will stay the same, it's highly likely it will change.

On the other hand with the conversion to commendations, and unless the freeps still need something to farm for in the delving, it's been basically left for dead and is just unused space on the map. Since turbine said we were "supposed" to get a new pvp area a few updates ago and took it off the update, I have a strong feeling this is a first step to completely revising the delving into a "new" pvp area. I mean, what else would they do with a completely useless portion of the map?

Also, totally forgot to even mention audacity... I feel like it will really help with CC, and and bit with power costs but if you have freeps and creeps with similar audacity ranks then the incoming damage reduction would pretty much balance out... Unless of course the audacity ranks were different, that could be a difference of 10-20% damage overall, which could make a huge difference in some fights. The grind to get the highest rank audacity won't be fun, and they basically made the grind for commendations similar to that of infamy. Aside from the very small amount you can get from killing the free people npcs and im assuming orc and uruk npcs for freeps.

I logged in to a crazy messed up UI and a bad commendations to stones transfer rate.

See-I had been actively farming in the Delving and had lotza stones. Lotza. Also, with all the gold I have accumulated-I was an active blackmarket Glimmering stone buyer. I had over 5000 glimmering stones! The trade rate sucked and they can't go back. The bad thing is that I didn't even get back commendations for all the deeds completed. pfft. And I wish freep commendations and Creep commendations were separate. Freep commendations should never buy Creep skills. and commendations were totally plagerized from SWTOR. So I dislike the thiefery. I HATE plagerists. Turbine/WB should be ashamed of the obvious lift.

But, after all that fail exchange rate ( how can we be like swtor) stuff- I think we have to get to the end of the update and audacity ratings to really see. It will be ok. You will still be able to kill me.

Hoping to find some spars today. I'll pop over on Wofeman and see if anyone wants to play around later. I hear it's zergity zerg out there right now.

True, but should they really be ashamed? I mean, all they did was make a bad game worse. SWTOR couldn't even do the comm system right. I have a 50 Shadow in almost full BM gear. Let me just say it sucks. Bad.

Yes Turbine Lotro should be ashamed. They are capable of original ideas, and they have Tolkein to look to for reference. Sad to see the WB ship being led like that. No Dev will dare to defend this thievery-after all they had no new ideas! It's tough to write new code and power level your Bounty hunter at the same time. ;P
