Shadow Stance:

“You attack your enemy from every shadow, dealing devastating damage.”
Unlocks: Rank 1
Cooldown: 10 seconds (shared with Flayer)
Melee damage increased
Moderate in-combat power regeneration
Some skills will always execute as “From Stealth”

With as many OP buffs, skills, and stats as freeps have (including the indirect increase in healing efficiency - which they DID NOT need) I think devs ought to just chalk this up to WAI. Hehehehe.

i'm sure the From Stealth, was intended, but not the zero chance of avoidance part of that, developers do alot of copy pasting it seems (yes i know its more technical then that i just forget the terminalogy :P)

Skills that act as "from stealth" with Shadow stance literally act as if the Warg is attacking from stealth, greatly reducing the chance of your target's B/P/E. Needs to be fixed.

You know if they did want any sort of increase to the warg's chance to hit they could just add an agility buff or finesse buff to the activation of Shadow. So that there is some amount of BPE bypass, but not 100%. Would be nice for the SQUISHY dps build if they added a little more benefit to being so squishy.

wouldnt necessarily say its bugged. its supposed to make those skills act like they are being used from stealth, so the BPE reduction may be WAI

Nuggsta is just whining because he cant solo 4-6 wargs at a time now. While fighting this morning he had to pop and burn all his cd's when he foolishly took on 2 reavers and 2 wargs.... in the end he had to vanish without a single kill and watch his group of normally OPed freeps get wiped.....

There's also a typo in the Shadow stance description that needs immediate attention; "You attack from the shadwos..."

WAI, it says it right there in the Skills descriptions. This gives Wargs, who have no form a burst DPS the ability to make sure what attacks they do have hit, we can't even do the Bloody Maul/Maul stack any more. They get 0 defensive benefits in this stance and are just as easy to kill as they were pre U6.



The skills that always act as if used from stealth whilst in Shadow stance are as follows:

• Eye Rake
• Claws
• Maul
• Shadow Fangs

If you want to talk about a Bug, Pack Hunters 2.5 meter range needs to be fixed.

Attn Devs! Ignore whines of skilless freeps used to godmode.

I just wish Pounce was on that list. Then I'd be in heaven.

i dont care if im right or wrong, this was an informative post stating what i thought might be an oversight in the programming that has happened in the past when major alterations were implemented. this new stance seemed a little far fetched to me, and being a burg i understand some of the mechanics/programming behind this concept.

so, cut out the attacks, grow up.

In my honest opinion shadow stance needs this whether wai or bugged. Pack Flayers does this too (negate bpe) which while grouped comes in handy. Shadow stance is designed to be the glass cannon.

Does the op have r7 audacity, gear swap, 1st ages? I understand freeps need an edge when maxed out but you can't rule out audacity and call it a bug. r7 audacity AND tng or pledge without ways to negate it would be too op, I am assuming. Freeps earn their dps back against creeps audacity as well if I'm not mistaken. The real question is, what will u7 bring and any thing for defilers?

dont really see the problem with this...knives out with the new set bonus is alot better than tag anyways on wargs...

Sounds like shadow stance has made the skills like tactical damage negates the B/P/E values, could be working as intended. I do hope so.

Ranged cuts right through eldar's grace and dying rage's parry. Is that bugged? Tactical can just blow through whatever b/p/e cd anyone feels like popping. There are NO +50% resist rate cd's or anything of that nature. Wargs in a particular stance are given three attacks that cut through b/p/e and we're assuming this is a HUGE bug?

......you can only block or evade ranged attacks, not parry them. Having 3-4 skills that are unavoidable sounds ridiculous.

Once freeps have full Audacity, - 30% incoming damage, Wargs will need this, seeing as we have 0 high DPS skills we need some way to ensure our attack do damage. It's the same reason Topple has a 10s duration, to give us some form of effective CC once freeps have full audacity.

You're missing the point. It is obviously an unintended bug due to bad programming, have at least the honesty to say so.

It's hard to say if it's intended or not. I can see logical arguments for both sides. Definitely makes killing burglars and guardians significantly easier, though.
