Early impressions on U6 E RvR fights

Even numbers, freeps wipe creeps with no problems (maxed out or average freeps)
Creeps outnumber freeps by ~50% - can beat average freeps, maxed out is a no go unless the entire creep raid is top of the line.

Overall - Freep healing and defensive capabilities got even more boosted by audacity while creeps still get carved up by high Freep DPS. It's only going to get worse as the book continues I think. Right now we can DPS race a light armor target down but when audacity levels kick in, the far greater superiority in freep healing vs creep healing will make a telling difference as soon as all the WL bubbles are used up.

So.. we'll see! IMO I think creeps are going to look back at last book as a better one for anything above small (very small) group action.

Your raid has allready maxed out its audacity and bought all new available skills? Thats impressive

Re: Early impressions on U6 E RvR fights

There will never, ever be a creep raid even with all maps. I was hoping for that 5 years ago, still hasn't happened. It will always be a mix. But looking at it from the POV that even if creep commendations can keep up with freeps gaining audacity, everything 'remains' at the same now as freeps @ 1 audacity and creeps @ 1 audacity.

Except that freeps will take longer to kill and while WL and defiler heals are on their long cooldowns, the freep healers can be hitting multiple heal buttons and spamming them.

Clarification - PuG Creep raid, but even tribes will have a problem fielding a full raid of maxed out/all map/all skill characters.

That would be true, if creep CC = freep CC. The 50% reduction at max rank is a HUGE help for creepside.

Give creeps a week or 2 to max their audacity and to give weavers/wargs time to get their new skills. (atm its still practically update 5)

Reduction in duration matters less because of the mass quantity available. So the stun lasts 2 seconds, you're going to get stunned again shortly.

I see no clear advantage either side with CC reduction. Now it ramped up DR faster such that you became immune faster, yes, it would make a better difference. But Audacity 1 or Audacity maxed, you can still get CC'd 10 times before immunity.

As a WL in previous books, honestly CC duration never really bothered me. The only thing that ever saved me was the immunity point. Up to that point, it was all about healing/bubbling from others to keep me alive, it didn't matter if I was rooted 5 seconds or 2.5 seconds.

    ???

A global reduction of 50% (when maxed) is going to have a larger effect on the side with superior CC (not an opinion)

Re: Early impressions on U6 E RvR fights

When you reduce incoming damage to both sides yet one side deals 3-4x more AOE/SDPS there will be problems. Then you have large freep groups who know how to build overpowered raid groups (Captains with 15second legacy rally cry) who use shield of dunedain + on the move mini healing + stackable rk HoTs. It takes at least 5-6 targets before dunedain shields are on cooldown and by that time the champs / lm's have killed several creeps and here go enemy defeat responses. Rally cry heal + group HoT and then mini's pop fellowships heart.

In the end what will happen is small scale combat of pvp regulars on creep side who will have Audacity 7 will mop the floor with freep casuals in the moors. Once it hits large scale and freep raids consist of 4-5 captains + the skills listed there will be a huge imbalance.

    My 2 cents.

Obviously the Raid isnt enough to feed the hungry animals their commendations for new PVP gear

I do not see why your complaining about freep healing. I have run into kupkakes groups and any well traited defiler they can heal just fine. Any group w/ coordination is going to win as kriptic has stated fire fighters had good gear (btw i wasnt leading that group) i crashed due to the stupid heal bug and wasnt able to reconnect. I noticed a huge increase in damage that I couldnt heal through. I think you have to take it w/ a grain a salt no one has audacity yet and commendations we're still working on. Im sure things are a tad exaggerated at the moment.

Comparing WL healing or Defiler healing to current-day Minstrel healing?
