I understand both the standpoint from players and from Turbine, who at some point told one of the Vilyans that they just can't make a memorial for just one player, when there's a possibility of then needing so many others. To us players, it hurts, but continuing to call it Rekka's Woods still has the effect we want it to have, which is remembering a great player and an amazing friend to a lot of people. So keep on calling it Nidor's Rock, and keep him alive in your hearts and memories.
Yep, agreed /salute.

I've not logged into the game since the memorial, and tried every option I can think of to get the attention of the Devs as well as outside assistance.
Apparently corporate greed is more important than player base satisfaction for some companies(WB).
I'm sorry to say that I won't be exerting any more effort on this attempt and all of LOTRO's players will just have to keep the rock memorialized in their hearts and minds, the way it has been since Bruce first created Nidor and failed to make it to the top of the rock.
My apologies also go out to Julie and Ella Rosenberg for failing to accomplish what should be such a simple request.
Thanks Warner Brothers and Turbine for being such great companies *sarcasm*
Valinor has gained a friend in Nidor while Middle Earth has lost him as a treasure.

Well said. I have played several MMOs in my time. I have had freinds who passed away in real life and players requested similar things. The fact of the matter is simple. They cannot do it. I know it is not what people want to hear... but you have to just unofficially create a memorial from him. Other games (SWG) had the luxury of placing structures or items in the game to use as memorials. We do not have that luxury. We are left with good memories of all sorts. Keep them close to you and continue calling it "Nidor's Rock". I only knew of him on several occassions. I think I actually spoke with him once or twice when someone was showing me the Moors wayyyyyy back. He will be missed I am sure. My thoughts go out to his family and freinds. So as I have already said, keep calling it "Nidor's Rock". Spread the name. Tell new players why you actually call it "Nidor's Rock". Just don't forget why you're doing it. It doesn't matter if Turbine does not implement anything. What matters is that is legacy is not forgotten.
