Thread: why did you change the colors on the isengart warsteed turbine? it looks ugly now.

why was this even done? the mount looked cool before the update today now the armor has this UGLY BROWN color. why? now it feels like a true waste of 99 sigil fragments. thats beyond stupid.

I grinded my a... off to get this horse, I loved the color and now it's BROWN?

the armor of the mount is brown now. not the mount itself. it looks absolutly unfitting now. definitly needs to be reverted back.

Please bring back the original appearance

It was the best looking horse in the game.
Sure, it was distinctive, didn't look like the RoI bundle horses, but that was a good thing. Also the other 168% horses are distinctive.
The new colors just don't match. Now after the change it just looks "ok", but it has lost its magic.
Now I don't see any reason to get this for another char anytime soon.

if youre going to patch some of the more important errors this week fix this aswell please.

Absolutely ./signed. I logged on, summoned my horse, blinked, dismounted, re-summoned, blinked again, and started wailing in kin chat. Then I pulled myself together and ./bugged it in a desperate hope that it actually is a bug. That brown is hideous. Get rid of it, please. Bring back the nice steely blue.

Could we get a screenshot of the new appearance? I'm guessing it changed with u6?

I really don't get what that hast to do with an appearance bug.

(I start believing that it IS a bug, since the horses are not just one 3D Modell with one texture but have components which can be exchanged or moved and it looks like they are using the Rohirim horse plating component instead of the Iswngard War Horse plating component).

I wonder why highly cost items are devaluated once people start to aim for it. You did that with some Ox clan light set armor, now this horse... when will you revert the rare First symbol as a generic one ?

Anyway kidding or not this is really sad to have that horse now

I think they just swapped the armor plating with the Isengard pre-order mounts plating by mistake. Its probably a bug.

thats why i use steed of the hunter, love the arrow quiver on it. Hope i can put on armour on it with riders of rohan update

Definitly not, these will be new horses only usable in Rohan. All current horses will remain unchanged.



I want my old appearance back

Hello turbine! I really disappointed with that how Prized Isengard War-Horse look like now. What's happened? Before it had full black armour and clothes, now only clothes is black but armour has usual brown colour! (like pre-order steeds). Now it looks so ugly! Please chnange it back.

I have no idea why this happened, I didn't see anyone complaining about the plating on the Isengard War steed in the first place.

Wow... well can't afford the fragments to get one any time soon but saw people complaining about the change and didn't understand why.

Now that seen what looked like before and see it after as well am like what the hell I don't blame you guys. I sure hope they fix it. Eventually I would like to get one as well. Not usually one for large flowing tack on mounts but that's because most are like way to bright, not something I imagine myself traveling on over rough country or wanting to ride anywhere but a parade :P These look awesome though and have admired it seeing people ride by on them, but do hope they bring back the first appearance because the brown is defiantly ugly in comparison. Still nice mount though.

well there goes Scorp trying to get that horse for my collection. Its ugly lol.

Everyone who's concerned about this ought to just submit a /bug on it. Turbine knows from very long experience that gratuitous changes to how existing items look drives players crazy, so this is most likely a defect. Perhaps an unintended side-effect of some other change/fix they did.

If you submit defects the worst they can do is to decide not to fix them, but at least you're more certain the right developers will hear about the problem. And if it turns out that this is WAI for some reason, I expect Sapience or Celestrata will say so (to ask people to stop submitting bugs on it).

Best to do this now, because the longer it goes with the new colors, the more complaining there will be about switching back. Many MMO players don't react very well to change, and some people absolutely will get attached to the "new" color.

Also there is no note about it in the bullroarer 6.1 notes but that does not mean anything, it might be a "silent" fix.

Still it would be nice to hear something official.

This is now fixed as of Update 6.1.
