Thread: Update the interactive map

I guess a small thing in the grand scale, but any chance to interactive map at http://my.lotro.com/home/ can be updated? It has none of the isengard regions nor (understandably) the Great River. I sometimes like to have a look around, but can be helpful to check where things are.

I believe after RoI Sapience said that updating this map was too time-consuming and they were looking into ways to replace it.

I don't where this post is. This is my understand also. It is too expensive. Turbine is looking into a different solution.

Turbine is so slow at doing new features. It would not surprise me it is 2013 before it happens.

My gut feeling is that it is something that will come with the Riders of Rohan expansion in Fall of 2012.

All the coordinates have been broken in the map as well. Quest & deed articles use to show points of interest or NPCs and clicking the icons on map would show a balloon with zone/area & coords. When you do so now they are blank. Been that way since Isengard came.

Since Mirkwood actually, the forest is somehow off the charts.

So is Loth. Perhaps one reason they're bringing us to Rohan from the east is so they can put off the map grid problem for another year. The Wold will be in an island with Loth Mirkwood and the Great River zones. Only when they introduce the populated portion of Rohan will the two grids be physically connected.
