Well tonight pretty much proved that if freeps have stacked hunters and 5+ minis there is really no stopping them whether its Napoleon leading them or a 5 year old. Do not see any reason why freeps should be complaining with the way things are right now lol.

I had 4 hunters if you call that stacking, the reason it was incredibly unfair was there was no lag and we could take advantage of freep DPS and heals. I lost my 2 best captains, bunny, nodel, and ceo (3 minis) for that last fight so really didn't have allot of heals. For what it's worth I didnt find it fun at all and disbanded after the faceroll with a not-full nor a-team raid so i disbanded which i realize was probably frustrating but it was for the good of everyone, there will be another night to rvr and the tables will turn. Thanks for the fights, good to see you back out Mere.

First thing, tell your ba's not to stand together, the hunter/champ/lm aoe just absolutely devastated them. Targets that were selected were generally at half health because of the aoes. I was tempted to trait aoe targets on champ thats how ridiculous it was, was pretty much in champ heaven.

And thanks skull for letting us know that we were outnumbered by craid + support craid...and it didn't matter in the least. Loved how our biggest losses were in front of TR when a couple people lagged on horses and fell to their deaths lol.

i had 36 on track at TA when we had hardly a full raid at one point. you werent outnumbered once your goldtag groups were with you, like the 7 man burg pack or the voa group that popped up at the end as well.

before you get all bent out of shape about the number of mini's next time, take a good look at their buffs. Its pretty hard to heal others while in war speech...
yea, your track shows 98238973287 healers, of which 5 are in the raid and 3 are actually healing.
On the whole minstrels in the moors thing, I think what most saddens me most is the complete lack of healing by some minis and the propensity to just sit back and blow their derp rez, all the while thinking they've done the best job they could possibly do. Between the 5 man rez, the target forward healing and the warspeech ragers it just feels like actual healing minis have become a dying breed.
I never join fraids because raid leaders expect me to do zero dps and shield-wall.
Solo is so much more fun and consists of 95% of my Moors experience.
I enjoy both personally. It's fun as hell to run around solo as a guardian but I have to admit I get a lot of satisfaction when I get tells from minis thanking me for the protection. Being a good protection guard in the Moors is a challenge unto itself. Also, it seems like small group action might actually pick up a little now. I've been in some fun small groups since the update. Still, you are right and I do relish those times when I'm in a raid and am free to DPS and play like a reaver and go after the creepies. ^_^
Nimfae, I don't think healing minis are a dying breed. My sheild was busy this past weekend.
I enjoy solo'ng, had to given my long history with lag but occasionally helping to heal raids can be fun as well. Fights that go on for ten minutes or ever changing scenery and landscape when actually going outside the center of the map is what's kept me joining for more.
As I said before, I like soloing. It's just that soloing (or goldtagging) is completely ineffective against organised freeps due to Freep healing and weaver low DPS.
I'd love to solo as a guard. Insane mits, high morale, high DPS, esccape whenever you want to.

Browsing the forums till GW2 is released.
Gold tagging I don't do. When competing with other Freeps the most commendations that I'll get is between 5-10 if I'm lucky. Whereas if I'm solo I usually get between 50-90 commendations.
I prefer to patrol Grimwood Forest, HH, Slug Pits.
I try to avoid GV Hill, EC/OC, TA/TR lawn and rez circles.
Most of my 1v1's I find just west of GV.
While solo I respect 1v1's.. but if I'm grouping with 2 or 3 people then it's up to the group whether they want to gank the 1v1 in-progress.
lol this while thread is a joke. The next time I get to fight one craid and only 1 craid at a time i'll do freakin backflips. Until then I guess i'll be stuck fightin craids inside TA tyrant rooms, Craids/packs n craid/2nd craid out in the open. You know, u guys do what ya want .... and I know I'm completly off topic here but, u all want fraid leaders to bring the fight to you when u outnumbered/advantage or back off when 2nd raid engages .....

also malarick i've never seen you 1v1, but it doesn't matter, people are stuck in how rk's USED to be, they mostly don't play the class, and if they do, it's an alt, and they have no idea what an rk actually does, i had to tell soooo many people that you don't hit 12k crits every day, mostly they'd sit around 5k on a decent crit, and less now that audacity is here. also that you'd prolly get something like that one on itzbitz maybe once every couple of months. and only with full raid buffs, but hey people believe what they wanna believe.
wargs in fact tear through rk's like butter, get 2 lets say r8 wargs and have them jump the best rk on the server in a 2v1 that rk isn't even gonna scratch the wargs, and that's assuming the wargs are charitible nice wargs and don't brand before the fight
You will find that conversational range increases dramatically when you talk about what you think, rather than what you know.

Healing minis are alive and well, or have you not seen all the creep anguish in this thread? Rather interesting too how defilers always have the fraid leader selected...wonder what thats all about
Btw, good fights tonight, some wins and losses for both sides, had a blast (when not lagging).

not ALL minnies heal by target forwarding.
as to healing Minnie's dying... I heal when asked, otherwise I'll dps, since I'm mostly soloing or duoing nowadays.
