+Sapience, Can you tell us whether the Great River will be in the lotro store for immediate purchase at u6 launch or if there will be a short period of VIP exclusivity?
Also the final prices of The Great River, and the Premium Barter Wallet.

Everything will be available at release. I don't have final prices but they should be the same (or slightly lower) than what's currently on Bullroarer.

Thank you for the prompt reply.; My TP stash will be hurting come Monday morning.
Edit: And woah. lowered pricing details while I'm posting.. Woot.
Awesome! This is just in time to start my spring break. Guess I know what I'll be doing all next week.
Grr. I miss being in School or working in the Educational field. He he. Its been a good 10 years since I've had any form of Spring Break or Summer Vacation. Have a good week of gaming though! Good time to test all the new content out. I may take next Friday off and have a nice long weekend.
Gratz on the release. From start to finish turbine kept the info flowing and engaged with the community. Its easy to slam when they dont do something, but its equally important to acknowledge when they keep their word.
Oh goodie. Cant wait to see all the wonderful surprises next week. Wondering whats gonna get broken now........
Well, on Bullroarer there are places all over the map where you suddenly stop running for a couple of seconds. I /bugged a few; don't know if they'll have fixed them or not.
As for surprises, not categorized under broken, wait till you see the spiders with level 72K and 145K Morale.
Just how important or necessary is this wallet ?. I don't intend to buy one but I"m curious.
Neither, really. It just frees up a ton of inventory space. I don't quite play enough anymore to warrant the purchase, but if I played regularly, I'd be more than a little tempted.

Agreed. Thanks for all the updates, words of wisdom and just retaining a presence on the forums Turbine. Gives a warm and fuzzy feeling to know someone out there cares
Aww man... monday?! I've never been dissapointed learning of a LoTRO release date before but, but, but... Mass Effect 3!? I don't even get my CE until tomorrow!

I have to agree. Very NICE! Keep up the good work!
I'm really excited about the update coming out Monday. That's the first day of spring break for me, which I chose to spend on campus (so I will have access to a high speed connection). Granted I am nowhere near reaching this area, but I have a full week and a few extra days to play my little heart out between bouts of schoolwork. And since I've been saving up TP for something (not sure what that is), I will probably look into getting the upgraded wallet.
I am quite perturbed that this update is coming so soon. Wardens just lost most of their AOE aggro ability, and our aggro swapping tool. How on earth do they expect us to tank Lightning wing on tier 1 or 2 with no Aggression??? Sure we get an all new highly survivable Warden, but how will we be able to keep those defenses up when we have to spend most of our time building aggro.
I wish they'd just wait until they fix Wardens before they release U6. Unless at the very least Aggression goes back to what it was Pre-U6, Wardens will be almost worse off than before, especially in Swapping Aggro.
It appears Turbine really does not like Wardens.

If I didn't play a Warden, I'd be really excited about this.

I haven't really been following the Warden changes on BR (even though my main is a Warden, lol). What exactly is changed with Agression? I read about War Cry not doing as much threat... and now the longer gambits are the ones that do more threat... but what did they do with Agression?
I'm guessing he's referring to the expanded barter wallet not being free for VIPs. Since (I assume) all items that can be stored in the barter wallet will become Bind-to-account upon U6 WITHOUT needing to buy the wallet, it's purely a convienience/space saving purchase, and thus perfect for the store.
Now if those old "end-game" currencies only become Bind-to-account if you buy the expanded wallet, then I have a problem with it not being free for VIPs.
Also, while I don't really care, the Great River being available for everyone upon launch goes against the advertisement that VIP's get exclusive new content.
You will no longer be able to gain DP at a reasonable rate. So when your DP-stock runs out you will lose something that was a clearly stated VIP benefit.

This is correct. The only destiny points you can get in U6 will be the tiny amount you get for gaining a level.
Example: to buy off a skirmish defeat penalty (8000 destiny I believe) you will need to level an alt from 1 to 41.
There is of course always the turbine store if 40 levels of grind is not "convenient" for you.
