The off hands really aren't all that great (lm sword is weak, guard shield is meh) and the rings really shouldn't be necessary in most cases unless your healers are terrible. 500 mits while taking it a hit for mastery/finesse is silly. But yeah, I at least understand people's line of thinking. Even if it's wrong.
Champ/hunter/burg offhands are best aside from rare t2 drops.
The moors rings are a great form of morale and mits. Sarumon T2 you take tons of tact dmg and need to stack all the mits you can.
