Rob, you couldn't wait to attack me until after I finished killing the dorf NPCs at dorf camp? Seriously... You are the one who is demanding a 1v1 and yet you're completely fine with ganking me in your NPCs time and time again.

And thank you again, Wimpitrude, Stimple and unknown warden for zerging me at yet another farming location. Your courage knows no bounds.

Meh, one thing I'm always reminded of when I flip and play the other side a bit is just how biased our perspective is of the other side. Bottom line is, freeps play careful because they know no matter what the numbers are, they'll soon be slanted in the creeps' favour if the fight stays in one place. Creeps play careful because they'll get blown the F up if they stay in the open too long.

Besides, I'm pretty sure it was the OP who brought Mauzak to Lugz last night because 4 to 1 odds weren't quite enough to take the keep. Just sayin': perspective is everything. I gave up long ago giving a damn what anyone thinks about me out there. 90% of the people that slag me seem to do all the same stuff they accuse me or others of. That's probably perspective too. So I say, enjoy the 'moors kid! Bring a helmet.

Just last week some freaver found me in Grothum while I was on the escort quest, he didn't attack me and luckily for him, he didn't agro Alf, so I left him alone. In comes some Mini and he blew up the freaver, stuff happens. I'm sure that freaver thinks I called the Mini in, I did not. Now if that freaver even looked like he was going to attack me I'd stop worrying about Alf and destroy him.

Go play a real open world PvP game and see how things are done there. Bottomline, if you want to make all these silly rules just stay out of the moors, you aren't built for it.

It was more like a collective 2:1 at that point. You guys did a good job at defending it for a while, but the hike between the rez circle and the keep can be quite iffy with a bunch of wargs hiding in the bushes.

Madame, you do know the more you QQ when you get ganked while questing/farming, the more it will happen. You are just putting a huge target on your back.

Exactly how does that correlate? Are you saying that freeps are intentionally malicious to those people who call them out for being dorkfaces?

Grima, so I hear, used to turtle like HECK back in the days. Grima also was the one ranted on for not fighting unless his raid outnumbers the other sides non-raided little group until 6:1 odds... Not sure where Im getting these memories from, never even saw Grima (when I came into the moors actually, every1 was talking in the OOC about some elusive raid that kept moving the fight towards some other keep, and eventually I figured they stopped at GV! Then I found out about 1 shotters and never came back Mightve been Grima's fault, w/e), but umm... idk, why are you defending them???? And whats so scary about being huge target? Loads of awesomeness for the lvl 61 survivors back in the day who came out and busted some healer tricks and despite being targetted, just simply would not die lol

Are you purposely being obtuse? Some might find seeing you QQ and rage in the forums as good sport. Its a PvP zone, you will get ganked, no one is going to say "pardon me, I wish to have a round of fisticuffs when you are done killing that mob"

Ah yes, Mudface... as I recall, on both occasions Skepta was in the lead of a zerg train in front of TA. That isn't what you'd call a 1v1.

Actually the Skepta that I know is 100% solo. He showed me his wartab the other day; also suggests that. And from what i'm told that the description you give, is more suited to you. Lying to save your skin...it's almost as fair as running into TA, 1v1.

Skepta won't turn down a 1v1. I'm sure you'll organise one with him sometime? Away from TA & npcs.

Skepta was the Champ that was in that 2v2 in DC against failioth, we weren't grouped though, good guy. Haven't seen him around, was going to 1v1 him on my Spider.

It's amazing. I have people from other servers calling me a liar.

Even though Skepta's wartab may have shown him hitting me and me hitting him back, it doesn't mean that there weren't other freeps on the zerg at the same time. But, sure... I love 1v1s against champs and minis. Defilers are the cream of the OP classes....

So at East TA; after Skepta chased you to the stairs with his 45 second sprint tried to kill you with npcs on, decided he didn't want to give you renown - ran out the back towards north of TA (norborgs) with npcs & you still chasing him, eventually resetting them & 1v1'ing you with 3k morale, in which you killed him & then corpse jumped...isn't the truth?! I think we have a case of selective memory.

I don't think he cares too much for you running 1v1, more a case of your double standards; since you want fair 1v1s, only when it suits you it seems. But because you want fair 1v1's, you'll take Skepta up on a 1v1 then? Sure freeps are OP, if they use all their cd's...otherwise it's quite evenly matched. I have a creep too, you know. I promise you Skepta won't use his bubble(s), man heal or dire need though.

That's his wartab - not the stats of a raid zerger; fights alone, kills alone & dies alone. Doubt he'd lie about being solo...

Yeah - I think most frequent pvp'ers know Skepta has no problem dying, fights solo, and hits like a freight train. If a train of peeps were following him - it was probably just that. They probably targeted him and saw him targeting a creep - decided to follow to either mooch off his reknown, steal his kb, or both.

Gotta give it to him though - I remember a group of 3 of us saw a 6k morale champ and thought cakewalk; we were taken back that before we could burn down his 6k morale, a 14k morale BA was already down and the 2nd was already at 8k. ./respect.

Agreed with Kadieon...respect to Skepta. Fought him on my reaver a few times yesterday 1v1 and got respectable, very close fights. Good guy and fun to fight/play with. Aggressive (and solo) champs ftw!

We would have a serious imbalance of 99.999 to 1. This doesn't even matter anymore. You can't troll out most of the community and expect it to thrive that way.

I am fairly new to the Moors, despite playing this game for 5 years, I've only been out here roughly 2 months. So much of my behavior out here is learned behavior from what others have done to me. ie: I constantly am ganked by 2-3+ creeps when I might be doing quests in Grotham or other places without any concern for fair gameplay. So I started doing the same thing when bored, would ride around looking for fights and would jump right in and go for the kill.

After this thread, and reading through it I decided to try an experiment. For the last week when solo, I have waited for the creeps I find to finish killing whatever NPCs they are on, fully heal and even in some cases buff up before jumping in on them. In some cases, it resulted in a fun fight that was enjoyable. However in probably more than 70% of the time, after waiting and then starting the fight mid-fight I'll get jumped by 2-3 others that got called in (or in some cases an entire horde of creeps will come to the rescue thanks to the extra time that I gave).

I really would like to say that I enjoyed the few times that did not occur, but until both sides shows the same courtesy I doubt that this is anything more than a pipe dream unfortunately. The one big plus I will say though is through this I have gotten to meet quite a handful of creeps that later sent me a /tell from their freep alts and that is a nice way to meet more of the community at least.

I would normally find this ironic but let us all take in consideration the OP....

Was in grothum the other evening finishing dailies and I peep out Spacemonkey throwing stuff at me... I figure coo.. there is no way after starting the "Call it Out" thread that we won't get a decent 1v1 up here...

The creeps come mapping one-by-one, Hoorahhhh... Hoorahhh....

Was pretty much worth getting ganked for this lolz.

Correction. You and Thorendurn (sp?) the captain were at grothum, both of whom tried to kill me. The same captain was paired with Helixion only half an hour earlier and managed to achieve what you did not.

Any time you want a 1v1 without a pocket cappy, let me know.
