Thread: Warden or Mines of Moria?

Hi, i just bought the LoTRO Mithril Edition and am gonna start playing a Warden. I love the Wardens Street Fighter style of combat. What i would like to know is if I should buy the Warden class or should i buy the Mines of Moria expansion instead? If i buy the Warden class do i get a discount when i upgrade to the full Mines of Moria Expansion? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

well mithril edition already comes with the mines of moria quest pack, if youve got the TP to spare then the MoM expansion includes warden and runekeeper as well as 2 extra character slots and skirmish soldier level increase as well as iirc one or two other features not included in the questpack

purchasing warden or even the quest pack for MoM does not give a discount if you decide later to purchase the full MoM expansion

if you only want the warden and moria quests then purchasing the warden class alone will be the best option

no the mithril edition only contains the mines of moria quest pack

if you buy the mithril edition you will need to purchase the warden class seperatly

The mines of moria expansion includes the mines of moria quest pack in addition to two character slots, unlocking the warden and runekeeper and an upgrade of your skirmish soldiers maximum stats. Given you already have the quest pack there is little point in purchasing the expansion. You can purchase the individual unlock of the warden for 700tp.

Sorry for the bump, but if you buy the Mithril Edition (which I did), is there any way to get the skirmish upgrade to 12 without having to buy the full Moria expansion? I own the Isen expansion and didn't care about warden or rk for now, I just wanted the Moria quests.

Skirmish soldier upgrades can be purchased separately, there are three (195 tp perhaps?). Oddly the moria expansion and roi expansion include skirmish soldier upgrade but mirkwood does not.

The Mirkwood expansion did include the Skirmish Cap upgrade, when it existed - but when they decoupled the Epics and Level Cap from the expansions the Mirkwood "expansion" was suddenly just a bunch of quests/instances and a skirmish upgrade. So they separated it into a quest pack and skirmish upgrade and deleted the full expansion from the store.
