Thread: 45th level Harvesting in Galtrav

My 45th level Westfold GM Cook/Farmer is having trouble harvesting in Galtrav. Any kind of planting it takes me over 70 seconds to harvest the plant, but only in Galtrav, not in the Shire. This takes way too long to complete and I can't do the normal 4 plantings and the harvest the 4 crops in time. I've bug reported this several times and haven't gotten any kind of reply. I've tried different plants and tools, but I still get the same delays.

Anyone have any ideas?

Any person that works for LOTRO have any ideas?

Harvesting times are meant to be much slower in areas far over your level. This applies to harvesting ore nodes, wood piles, and scholar nodes as well.

So yes - it is working as intended.

Yep, once my level 29 champ farmer/cook finished grinding Westfold rep he reluctantly departed Galtrev for the Shire.

It was a fun little achievement getting to Galtrev (extreme landscrape aggro), and I had to look out when farming as one day a mob chasing a freep up the road evidently reached the end of its aggro range and then immediately came at me (run away, run away). If I'd died, I would have respawned back in the Shire (my champ's milestone setting)

You need to return to an area that is not a "Red zone" to do your crafting. Or level up. I do not believe you can normal operation at 45 out of Dunland or Great River. You are going to need to go back to Hobbiton and Michel Delving.

Lorien should be okay as well. It's no more than a 15 level delta and the borders have been "opened" as of Update 7.
