Explorers of Middle Earth (EoME) is a four-year-old, well-established (rank 10) casual kinship on Landroval. We are older, mature, friendly, helpful players with more than a few Lifetime Account holders, and most other members have VIP status. We are a medium-sized kinship and still growing. We have a 15-man “Vent” account for our own Kinship chat and group events. Stability is something we strive to maintain for members, even when real life intervenes. We have alternate leaders set up to maintain kinship continuity and progress.
We are actively recruiting all players who have an eye towards the group content and growing with the kin towards end-game instances and casual raiding. We are open to all classes, races, and levels as well as players at any MMO experience level. If you are an old hand at MMO’s – great – or if this is your first try at on-line gaming, we welcome all players equally. New members will have recruit status until all their alts have joined EoME or until they have been an active and loyal member for at least one month.
Having a sense of humor is a requirement for EoME (no anger allowed in a wipe), and couples are welcome indeed! While we have no set minimum time that must be spent running instances/raids, or any other group activity, we do expect a degree of participation in kin group activities, social events, and KIN CHAT. Many of us have developed RL friendships through this kinship.
All members work on the pay-it-forward premise, which means we strive to help each other whenever we can in whatever manner we can, knowing we will each need help with something somewhere along the journey through Middle Earth. That said, please be aware we do not power level Kinmates. We prefer to help them learn their class fully.
We are mostly a PVE-centric kinship, but we enjoy wreaking havoc in the Moors now and then, as long as it doesn’t take our focus away from fighting Sauron’s hordes. Role Players and Musicians are also invited to join and are most welcome among our ranks, as this is a segment of our kinship we are working to expand. However, we as a kinship battle evil in larger fellowships from time to time, and we would love to have you join us. We expect all our members to act courteously to all players in the game as representatives bearing the EoME name.
