    reporting lorebook errors?

how does one report errors in the lorebook? From time to time you can find crafting recipe links that are incorrect etc. I'm happy to report them if it would help make the lorebook better.

The easiest (and more like only) way is to do it yourself. Just write something like "this and this is wrong it should be that and that" (and remember to preview before you save ) If a link leads nowhere it might be a bad link or the stuff simply might not be in the Lorebook, we can't do much about that (other than doing mock-up for the item).

You can also try PMing Duwis, he is supposedly still in charge of the Lorebook. (Or he might be at least able to relay your request further).

Fluffrash, Blade of Barashish ~ Nathraen, Conqueror of Towers : Warg Puppy and Spider Tailor from the darker side thereof
    Faradwen, Swift-Arrow : Huntress from [EN-RE] Landroval

As if in answer there came from far away another note. Horns, horns, horns. In dark Mindolluin's sides they dimly echoed. Great horns of the North wildly blowing. Rohan had come at last.

Thanks. What I find to be the most annoying and something I can't correct is bad links. For example. In the Jewelers Recipe overview page - Tier 5 is at the bottom... ok, once I figured that out I'm ok but it's sloppy. Then on the Tier 4 recipes, you will find two entries for Adamant Necklace, Adamant Earrings and Adamant Rings. One of each of those goes to a different item (Glittering Platinum necklace etc.). Again, once I figured out what was going on, I'm able to move forward.

It's mostly these types of little things I'm happy to report but didn't know how. Editing isn't really the deal if it's just content because I'm not a content expert and the types of things I'm mentioning are links.

I appreciate your thoughts however. Perhaps an avenue will open up to make these comments.

    cheers

    Re: reporting lorebook errors?

They broke item references for crafting, quests, deeds, and of course item templates with the past expansion. They use to refer to items by their id vs name. Since there are duplicates in item names, it is not a good identifier. Its been that way for months unfortunately. I too would like to see them fix it. (along with other lorebook errors.. the biggest being interactive map)
