Thread: Share your warden PoV videos!

Though it would be nice to see how other wardens played so; if you have a video to share please share it with us! I dont care if its moors, t1 Pits or good old watcher, anything is welcome! Ill update this post when other people (hopefully) post their videos! Only rule is it has to be warden PoV =)

I posted it from my PoV, the Burg is my alt :P. I have a lot raw video footage from my warden PoV in Orthanc and more from the moors, I need some time to make some videos from it (getting used to my Magix Video atm).

Aside from a few of your placements here and there; I'm surprised at how similarly our screens look. I actually put my assist window where you build your gambits tho.

I tried for a long time to key-bind masteries, but it just didnt feel right. Too many buttons to smash at once, and it often got stuck since I can only press that many buttons at once before my PC start ignoring some inputs! Do you key-bind all your masteries?

Hows the tool you're using (magix video)? Im using fraps, and in acid and shadow it just lags too much when I start recording (around 10-15 FPS). Had to sacrifice recording so I didnt wipe the hole team since I couldnt build aggro^^

nothing new, but, pvp, 65lvl...
early pvp levels, so bad rotations etc, but a lot of fun

My computer is too weak to record a vid while playing, so this is the best I can do. Figure its worth posting

Oof. I'm stuck with an inboard NVidia card and an older monitor, so I can't get as wide as most of y'all seem to be able to.

Also, do plugins eat up processing at all? Again, old computer, only 2GB of RAM, so I have to be really stingy.

Its pretty much the same, you only have to worry about the wounds/diseases/...etc

I'll contribute a couple, the Warg Pack video is the most recent UI setup that I have been using for awhile and I really like it. Everything is available right at hand, but the center of the screen is really clear.

What do you guys use to record and edit your videos?

I'd be interested to start filming some things.

This is an old one, and I might have to make a video of soloing the first boss of Foundry, but not much has changed.

I have tried a few different programs, and I have recently found Bandicam to be the best. By far. The first video I linked was made with a program called MMOBomb, but it only allows you to record in game and it must be a supported game. While this is probably fine for most people, you can't record out of game and it limits you. It's pretty good quality as you can tell, but it just doesn't compare with Bandicam. You can't even tell when you are recording (performance wise), it doesn't slow you down at all (I have a moderately fast computer, but not top end) and they look... well they look like the Warg pack video. Looks just as good as when I was actually playing.

Bandicam is the same format as FRAPS, let's you record or take screenshots of anything on your computer, be it in game or out of game. Both have free and paid versions. I tried FRAPS and it is AWFUL. The free version only lets you record 30 seconds at a time, but even worse the quality is just bad and it really is a resource hog on your comp. From my experience I definitely recommend Bandicam.

I don't know if Windows is required to use this (I assume you at least have access to Windows if you play LOTRO) but Windows Live Movie Maker is free, super easy, and really intuitive to use. I have never done any kind of video editing before and it took me less than an hour to put together the simple Warg pack video.

i use Fraps to record. but never recorded any lotro vids so far most of the time its shooters i record

I really dislike the Windows Live Movie Maker, its just too simple to use.

Also for recording Fraps isnt the perfect programm, but at least it doesnt have a watersign^^

Thank you for the support. My next video will be about saruman t1 and I will probably do some pvp videos too. I hope my kin will achieve shadow t2 soon to show it (but sadly not as main tank).
Mayby I would not try to talk english... I usually speak french so it's a little hard for me... but I think I've made my point.
