Meanwhile, Zombie Columbus says they're going to do some stuff for PvMP in Update 6.

But what I want to know is, how big are their legs? Are they tasty?

the pvp is not that bad but pple do make it that way...its up to use to make if fun but pple just want to win to much,

Well, yeah. There is this perpetual war between developers and PvPers in games with open PvP: the developers want to balance all the classes, to make them equally desirable to play; and the players want their class to be stronger and nastier than anybody else's, so they can crush their enemies and hear the lamentation of their significant others.

I'm on the developers' side, for what that's worth.

So why do they sell so much creep upgrade in the store and keep shifting the level cap so freeps are always on catch up?

The complaint about how bad the PvP in this game is a strange one. I mean you see the following every day:

X class is over powered.
I will not play anymore if PvP is not better
MUST HAVE open world PvP
Must have new map
The PvP is terrible.
please add your own here....

At at the end of the day the people making these complains stay with LotRO. Makes me think that LotRO must have one of the better PvP systems out there or all these complaints would have disappeared many years ago.

As for spider legs, no amount of garlic can cover up the oily aftertaste of goblins. (hehe)

LotRO actually does have one of the better pvp systems implemented in that pve and pvp are kept seperate and pvp changes do not have any direct effect on pve. That doesnt mean that the pvp in this game is all that great atm, quite the opposite but the foundation is strong and the potential it has is enormous.

Looking forward to some of the upcoming changes though. Hopefully they will provide a better pvp experience for everyone who enjoys this aspect of the game.

When i talk about direct effects i think most ppl know what i mean, i.e. class rebalancing. If you are referring to the minor buffs that pvers get from freeps having the relics in the moors......well, ok.

Dude since Day 1 back in 2007 classes have been PvE nerfed BECAUSE of PvP.

Time to do away with PVMP I mean it is so bad right and they need to spend the resources where it will do the Most good.
PVE the epic quest line, Rohan, mounted combat, housing upgrades. Yeah Do away with PVMP.
It was an afterthought anyway always was always will be.

PvMPers also pay. A lot.
Removing it from the game would mean make many people drop subs and a huge loss for the Store.
Quite a lot of people enjoy PvMP too, no matter what the forums say.
There'd be a drop in resources if they remove pvp, due to them losing money. Contrary to what most people in the forums say, there aren't 10-20 people who pvp per server.

If you really think that Turbine will do away with a significant money source just to make your house prettier, you are wrong. Please be fair to those who enjoy PvP.

Funny how all the PVMPers want to complain how bad it is but keep comming back......
The best thing about getting rid of the PVP would be the reduction in QQing in forums....

I do not PVMP or should say have not as yet and actually the Negative posts back and forth complain about creeps being weak...
followed by some of the same people complaining about thier Hunter or RK being weak....
Seems they want all thier toons to be the Ubber toons but only when they are playing it.....
Personally all the back and forth ganking and complaints make me wonder if I will PVMP.....
I mean if it is that bad why bother and if you discourage new people from trying why should Turbine show it love when they won't continue to make money off of it...

If people went by the forum's perception of the game, no-one would play LOTRO. 90% of the threads in LOTRO are about how LOTRO is doomed, how hobbits are self-immolating and how Tolkien is swearing in Heaven.

If PvMP was really as bad as the forums say it is, hardly anyone would play it. But there are still many people playing it. I agree, it is pretty ###### right now, but it isn't the most horrible thing developed either.

QQ threads are a part of any game's pvp discussion. Ignore them if it annoys you.

Many of the devs working on PvMP (as ZC pointed out recently) like to PvP on various other games. Maybe even to PvMP here.

So there's a perhaps small, but vocal, minority among the devs (even as on these forums) who want to keep it.

It is not the developer's decision to keep PvMP.

Sigh... why would you wish PvMP to be removed? I'm also mainly a PvEr, but I can't see how PvMP can annoy a person to the point that the person starts hating it. Do the annoying threads and absurd demands of some creeps annoy you? Ignore them. Let the people who enjoy pvp keep it.

How such a small part of the game, which doesn't get significant dev attention, is hated by a few of you is beyond me.

I've seen friendly NPC one-shoters at res-circles kill an entire Raid of friendlys
Yesteday A Friendy NPC I send into Isendeep Mine, attacked me instead of the creep NPC's
is the programing really that bad? is is something else going on out in the moors these days?

I do NOT Favour removal of PVMP......
I was trying to make a sarcasitc point of how some...NOT ALL..... Complain first thier creep is to weak then complain thier Freep Hunter or RK is to weak..... Find it Funny they first say that creeps are underpowered freeps are over powered but then say do not go to the moors with your freep until at level cap....Seems contradictory to me..... If the creeps are so weak then a level 45-50 freep should be an even match. Perhaps thats the problem they do not want even matches so they can keep QQing about the PVMP. Those crying for PVMP Love are the same ones discouraging othes from playing it and make rediculous claims and demands for changes.

Here's an idea... start thinking for yourself, roll a Creep and then come back to the forums and give everyone your expert opinion. Doesn't get any easier then that.

PvMP has gotten so bad, they're paying people with Destiny Points to participate.
