Just did Book 4 for some of our members. I can't believe we have died before while having level 50s in fellowship. Its incredibly easy quest if fellowship is well organized.
Stop by if you want to be a part of a good kin.

Re: "Khazâd Fundinul" - mature, "family"-type kinship, your future home.
This is my kind of guild/clan/kinship. Respectfull of others and respectfull of the lore master who created it, this is what LOTRO is all about. We have been given the World J.R.R.T. made, and this was the only way to get there outside of a book. The movies were good, yes, but you can't interact with movies. I'll be applying for this kinship when I reach lvl 15 for sure.

Re: "Khazâd Fundinul" - mature, "family"-type kinship, your future home.
Thanks for your good words, friend. While we are not really RP kinship we do respect Tolkien works. Its fun when folks just get together to have some fun in some game on the Internet, but those don't really last any longer than the fun itself. Most of our members love LOTRO for what it is - fantasy MMORPG based on Tolkien Middle-Earth. I think its more fun to play a game if you are quite familiar and like background story that the game was created based on. Otherwise it will be just a short walk of fun that some other game will replace very soon and again, and again... I am personally glad that this game is released and managed by Turbine. We can see a lot of fun things in the future, one of which we will see in a couple of weeks - Housing and more.

Wow, pretty good! Looks like I joined the right guild, then!

By the way, which song is that at around 3:10 in the video? I love it, and remember it being in the movie, but I can't remember which song it is.Last edited by CDRuzin; Oct 22 2007 at 08:11 PM.

I didn't see you in our guild btw

Recently invited, and at the moment only Speedo is a member. I haven't been able to play the game much in the last several days so that's probably why you haven't seen me.

Re: "Khazâd Fundinul" - mature, "family"-type kinship, your future home.
Great times yesterday. Out kin got Hall in Thorin's. Members helped to decorate, then we tried to find Fall Festival and even though icons were there on the map NPCs were not. So I guess Fall Festival is still coming. We made a run through north High Pass and ventured into the Goblin Town. That place is HUGE. I've never seen so many twists, turns and tunnels in any other dungeon before. Goblin Town is truly a TOWN
. Good time, good times. Kinship is filled with excitement.

Re: "Khazâd Fundinul" - mature, "family"-type kinship, your future home.
Have some respect for yourselves. Posting trivial stuff on these boards you could easily post on your own website forums, is tacky.
I've browsed your website, seen your video (very professional, well done). You appear to be a decent and organized group. Leave it at that. Forum "Bump-tactics" to maintain a front page position however, degrades that impression and seems borderline desperate.
"Word of Mouth". Never under estimate it's power.
When players hear you are a good kinship, believe me. They will find you.

Re: "Khazâd Fundinul" - mature, "family"-type kinship, your future home.
Hi Mikk. Can I call you "Blunt?" Good. So listen here, Blunt...I'm not a member of KF. But Dwarven-Might is always courteous, forthcoming, affable and humorous. If I didn't know anything else about them aside from the manner in which he comports himself, I'd have to assume they are a fine Kinship.
I've seen their members in game, and they never get embroiled in the server politics or bickering in the public chat channels. If I didn't already have a KS, I'd seriously consider hooking up with them.
Now, Blunt...you can consider this a "bump" if you like. Or you can consider it an unsolicited affirmation of a wonderful group of folks. That pick is up to you. I would ask that you avoid sniping at good folks with pre-canned messages, especially in light of your rather limited number of posts. Perhaps you read all the stuff here and simply don't post often, I don't know. The impression is you sailed in, lined a few kinships up in your sights, hit Ctrl-V to paste your pontifications, and then high-tailed it. We have (more than) enough drama on this forum without dredging up new material.
So Blunty, ol' boy...thanks for your observations. Stick around for a while, you may actually find this is a pretty good bunch of folks here. We have populs and sweet orange drink and are the envy of all of the known (and most of the unknown) universe.
Peace, yo.

Re: "Khazâd Fundinul" - mature, "family"-type kinship, your future home.
I am very... how to say it better... proud about the type of community we were able to organize during these months of the LOTRO being out. As you've probably noticed our members not a great posters
, but I don't blame them. They show their quality in the kinship, at the times when we are on, and even only a few are on we still have some great time. I have expected that this new patch will bring some interest to LOTRO and quite a few veteran players will return to try this all out. Its all wonderful as long as we have fun. It is really great to see how kinship become more than just a bunch of players who log on on daily basis and throw LFG in kinship channel. Every member is a trustful and respectable person. And I thank you all here as well for supporting our kin's already well developed reputation. See you all in Eriador
.

Re: "Khazâd Fundinul" - mature, "family"-type kinship, your future home.
Mightili is right. Members of our kinship don't post here as often as we should. I am guilty of that as much as anyone. But, I will support and defend Mightili on these or any other forums. This thread is to be used as a recruitment tool; so if someone has a problem with Might posting the various events or achievements of his kinship's members, than just skip over the thread. We are very appreciative for all that he does for this kinship, from the biggest of announcments to the smallest of posts.
On behalf of Tinu (my better half) and myself, thank you, boss, for all that you do for us.

Nah, don't want to keep all the kudos to myself. I think without members like you and Tin I wouldn't be able to handle our kinship's organization on my own. Support and will of every member to make KF better for all of us is the most important. So its thanks to all of you guys. I am just enjoying all the great people in kin
and trying to make their membership enjoyable and fun. I just wish I could somehow affect the game content to make it more casual player friendly.

Re: "Khazâd Fundinul" - mature, "family"-type kinship, your future home.
Just wanted to say thanks very much for letting me in and giving me a try-out for the guild. With having a new wife I dont get as much playing time as I used to so I appreciate very much the things you guys do ingame as far as events and not getting mad when people cannot show up. To me thats what makes Khazad a great place to be.
Organization, commradary, good times, and helpful members without being dictators about events.
Also wanted to thank Mightili and the other senior members for their hard work they put into planning our kin events. Even though im still a little young minstrel that can't participate in the end game content runs I appreciate the time you guys take to help us progress through difficult quests and story lines.

hello, just read all the good stuff mentioned in this rather long thread. So no i have to ask...would you guys be willing to pick up my wife and I? Neither one of us is really a hardcore gamer, but we would very much like to have a good group of people to chat and play with. We are still kind of new...less than lvl 15, and wouldn't be to much of a burden. If possible please post here and i'll tell you my toons name (can't remember exact spelling...lol see pretty nooberific. thanks.

Hello, my husband and I just came from Lineage 2, and fell in love with this game through the trail. We bought the game so we can fully enjoy it. We want to make this a great experince, that is why we are looking for a kinship that we can call home. we are boht level 10 right at this moment, and highly enjoying it. I know you don't take anyone till they reach 15, but we would both like to talk to someone from your kinship before we even are sure we will fit in with your group.
Our names are:
Elowan
Faynrian
we both look forward to hearing from your kinship.

I had the happy occasion to group with a number of members of KF last night on a attempt to complete Fornost in what appears to have been near record time. We didn't make it, not for a lack of trying and a considerable use of skill and resources, but it was an enjoyable experience.

Re: "Khazâd Fundinul" - mature, "family"-type kinship, your future home.
I've gone to your website and looked around and ive talked to a few friends ingame and hear you guys/gals are a great guild. I used to play on meneldor back before release and a month after release. I had to leave lotro for family reasons but now have come back and moved to brandywine cause of a close RL friend. Anywho, I've been married for 5 years and have 2 kids so I don't know if that makes me 'mature' but it definitely makes me some sort of adult at the least. I'm a light hearted gamer, I play only 2-3 hours a night 4-5 nights a week. To make a already long story sort, i was wondering if I could join yalls guild. my ingame name is Varangi lvl 24. Only think is, do I have to be a dwarf to join???
