While I am relatively new to both the game and the crafting system, I have been slowly getting the knack of it. My iorst character was a Hunter/Explorer-Tailor, so when I had to go to Lothlorien to get my T-6 recipes I did not mind, and found it colorful. When I had to do like 10 quests to get the silver branches to purchase one of the tailor recipes, after I got reputation, was in fact annoying, but forgivable; but when I realized that those recipes I had to do all those boring and repetitive quests to get the branches to buy the recipes where 1 time only, I felt taken advantage off!
Then I went on to Mirkwood, and once more I need their golden currency and reputation to buy the recipes, and I cringed at the realization! But to my happiness these were not one time use! Now this was done right! But by the way where are the level 65 craftable cloaks recipes at?
So why not, as a professional courtesy to the player, specifically to the crafting industry, remove the one time use recipes from the game all together?
Thank you
Sue

Re: Remove crafting "one-time" use Lothlorien recipes
Done. Get artisan standing with your crafting guild - you will find the permanent versions of the recipes for purchase in the Vinyards of Lorien, for regular silver and not for Lorien silver branches. They are a guaranteed crit, but are on a one-week cooldown.
Re: Remove crafting "one-time" use Lothlorien recipes
I'd love to see the demise of one-shot recipes. They really don't make any sense...you make a difficult item and immediately forget how you did it? Odd, at best...
Re: Remove crafting "one-time" use Lothlorien recipes
I agree there's enough grind already just to get the components, the one shots make no sense. What are we D&D magic users who forget our spells when we cast them and then have to relearn them each time?
and what's with the scholar one shot recipes?
But yeah, you have to join a guild, as I understand it all the one-shot recipes have guild equivalents anyway.

Or, at the very least, let is memorize them all instead of taking up vault space and simply adjust the count to the amount of one time recipes available.

Sweet!
I am already at master level with guild, so you say Vinyard? Nice, I was looking for them at Lothlorien city instead, that helps, yet the concept of single use seems wrong to me.
Is there a craftable level 65 Cloak recipe at Mirkwood?

There are light and medium armor recipes. No cloak that I know of. The next cloak is level 70 - Dunlending rep required. There is a level 75 crafted cloak - Rider rep required.
There is not a lot of crafted gear for tier 7 except for level 75 characters. For example, there is one medium armor set which includes a level 66 boots, level 68 shoulder pads and gloves - finally you finish the set at level 72 with the helmet and leggings.
Unless stated otherwise, all content in this post is My Personal Opinion.

Not true. There are no Guild Recipes for tools and the Tier 5 Ancient Steel and Tier 6 Tool sets are all one-shots. This is part of why I'd like to see Tier 7 *Guild* tool recipes (at present, there are no Tier 7 tool recipes at all).
