way too much. These things are still really hard to get and shouldn't be handed out randomly yet.

I say do it if its handled like a "jackpot". One player wins once every 2 weeks. 24 symbols isnt too much.

Way too much. Worn Symbols weren't handed out here so soon either. Not that I would MIND it, but I don't see any way that this could ever happen before Riders of Rohan.

I dont see why not, its certainly a more equal opportunity than the lootboxes.

On our server, more 1st age legendary have been obtained from lootboxes compared to earned by running orthanc. Some people even have gotten 2, without trying Orthanc. Fair?

Ok maybe its too much but only sapience can decide that I think, maybe a special lotto could be the answer, who knows!

There have been two in the past. Both were very small winner pools. Because it's an item intended to be rare and difficult to acquire we are very cautious as to how and when we put them in the lotteries.

I'd look for another opportunity to win one via the lottery closer to our 5th Anniversary in April.

You need to explain that. Seems to me people can level up countless toons and enter them all into the lottery and increase there chances of winning. Your chances for a lootbox don't change based on this. Loot boxes come from killing stuff and having extra toons doesn't help you kill any faster. I'm gonna have to say lootboxes are more "fair" until someone explains otherwise.

Lootboxes are tradeable so can be bought(though who would sell is another matter) and going by the multiple character argument against the lotto the more characters you have the higher the chance you get a lootbox due to more times grinding through mobs to level. The lotto at least can't be traded so yo ucan't give a single character multiple chances like a lootbox. And if the person has multiple 75s they will probably want multiple first ages so all having multiple enter does is just increase the amount they need. The lotto at least is available to all that meet the level req for it so would be more fair than lootboxes.

This. It is also in no way gated by having the need of some key (TP or RNG pull, or GOLD), 2nd RNG pull (1 to create the box, the other to get the item.)

Lotteries are direct acquisition, you know exactly what you're trying for and everyone in the given range gets exactly 1 raffle ticket per elligable toon to put into that server's raffle pool.

I know yesterday at least 2 were given out per world in the same flash lotto. I'm wondering if it was more like 5, but no one else came forward so far.

Complete Tower t1... yes but as far as i know there arent any FA Symbols in t1... Edin`s point was completely fine,it is hilarious that the players killing t2 Rings each Week get less FAs then some lucky guys that find a box/win lottery...

And yeah we are jelly.. cause we can do Raids on T2 and are too stupid to farm boxes or just unlucky

1 - Don't bump threads. Bumping is bad. See the Community guidelines.

2 - Anniversary means all sorts of great things will be placed in the lotteries. Especially on the weekends. But I'd keep an eye out throughout the rest of the month. Afterall, Steed of the Champion turned up today. Who knows what tomorrow may bring? (Or later today!)

in New raid for doing hms u actually getting nothing extraordinary wich is stealing most of fun.Coz u can get it on low tier and 1st agers are dropping in boxex/twice already lottery/ and claps dropinng on tier 1

btu whatever i belive in RoR gonna be even worse 1st age gonna be in skirmish camp i belive or it will drop on tier 1.
And armour u will get by complete deed perhaps like now.

I think your missing the point also, some of us really dont worry about cool armours or trinkets. We do raids/instances etc for the fun and community/social aspects of them.

^^ This, back in the days of lvl50 I ran the Rift every Sunday without fail for months, just for the hell of it because it was fun, we had a laugh doing it, especially when one time someone ran down to the giants to repair before we'd killed Thrang laugh? I nearly wet myself as he ran past me, thinks to myself 'er, what's he doing' - oh right - on vent 'er guys, fights started' we wiped, we laughed, we picked ourselves up and nailed Thrang - good times.

It ain't all about shiny stuff, raiding is about having fun with friends.
