Thread: The Shield Brothers say goodbye to LotRO and Laurelin.

Hello, folks.


With this topic i officially announce that our Kinship, The Shield Brothers, and most of its members, have decided to quit the game.


Why? I think everyone knows it, the game is not the same anymore, I am not going to discute there about it.

That said, I'd like to advise everyone that the actual Shield Brothers kinship have nothing to do with the "true" Shield Brothers which quitted LotRO with the beginning of the new year.

The whole leadership of the Shield Brothers and most of its members will stay united and "sail" together looking for other adventures, you can follow us at our portal - www.shieldbrothers.eu - And you are more than welcome to come aboard with us!


I thanksgive everyone for the good times from the 2007 to these days we had together.

No way! Last time i logged was 28 december. I'd rather step on a lego than log in LotRO... We all want new challenges

Agreed end game wise this game is finished for me and has been for a while , i'd like to finish the epic storyline in the game but thats all

Judging by the post on your guild forum, it looks more like the reason is drama and your exploiting of Saruman. But hey, who cares. HF in GW2.

Not at all, that has been done by the people which actually is in the kinship, after the 75% of the Shield Brothers left.

That's why i was pissed like a monkey and i have opened a topic here, i don't like that kind of sh*t and the others aswell. Despite all the personal opinions about each other we always played far, i want to take distance from people outside my gaming group exploiting the game content.

The old... Ehm new, or eh changed Shield Brothers on Laurelin is still going with a good number of players since we merged with another kin last week or so.

Great kinship, wish i could join you in GW2 just to play with you guy's again, but probably won't.

Some exploited in SB's name, doesn't mean people have to keep using it in negative sentences, show some respect to the ones that didn't have anything to do with it and that try to ignore all those trolls. (I don't ignore trolls cause i'm a moron.)

Funny to see that people actually visit the forum read all SB's updates and new gossips to spread. LOTRO must really suck if you spend your time on SB forum wich is a GW2 guild now.
