Thema: Account creation page - scheduled maintenance

Hi, I am trying to create new account but the web says it is under scheduled maintenance. It tooks quite a long time so I got a simple question to ask: Are there any days on which web maintenance is regularly done? Or is it just random time? I would like to know how long I have to wait

It is totally random. I've seen the web maintenance appear a dozen times in a single week. You even see it at night or on week ends. I suspect that in some cases, it is not scheduled maintenance. Part of all of the web services have failed. Turbine gets out the one painted card that claims that it is scheduled maintenace.

IMHO - It is a failure when the system goes down on its own. It becomes scheduled maintenance when the repair crew puts up the sign and starts working on it. Kind of an odd way to describe it.

Scheduled maintenance is always advertised.

Un-scheduled maintenance will not be advertised and since it is unpredictable in nature it would be impossible to guess how many times it will be needed.

I have never seen Account creation page down dozens of times each week ... But I don't go to that page a dozen times a week, I have been coming to the forums for just over a year and I have never seen the Forums down dozens of times in a week either. The worst time was when they were migrating the European accounts over.

Why would anyone create dozens of accounts in one week.
Have never seen lotro down with out explination Usually only on monday the normal maintenance day....
Have seen game client/server crashes exactly once and that was the connectivity issues they had after the last update.
