I have a youtube channel of owncomposed music made for Lotro. Some of the songs are Real life version of Lotro songs I have played during the years. Is all Lord of the rings themed.
Is a good mix on the youtube site. Both ABC songs, but also real versions.
It's a shame that so few people will see this post. The staff at Turbine always praise people who write inaccurate and misleading guides all the time when they should be praising fan art/tributes to the game such as this. Congratulations on your thematic music for Lord of the Rings. You did a wonderful job. In addition, know that this praise comes from another composer.

Thank you for the nice post. May I ask out of curiosity what music you make?
yeah I am aware I belong to a little group of player that has really fall for the music system in this game.. and I also have gone far as turning my songs into RL songs. I have to say this game has opened up doors for me regarding creating music, and daring to sing and do something real out of it.. I love the game. But I also love Tolkien Works..My music is sort of proving that hehe
Happy you like it. I will post a few more songs soonish
I just finished the first one & I already subscribed to your youtube channel. Great stuff. I am not a trained musician by any means, but I started playing this game just to play music. I have created midi's using anvil studio & transposed them into abc files, & that has only made me want to get into creating music more, & the question I have for you now is what kind of program or equipment should I be looking at to synthesize music that sounds like real music, not a midi player?
Your music is absolutely beautiful! I am in the midst of composing some music to one of my LotR poems and this is inspiring though I write in the folk style. I think you should make a CD!

Thank you Diamond
Is something I do for much fun, I don'thave so much goals with the music. But I thought some time in the future to gather all the songs into a virtual "CD" atleast hehe

If you looking for program to create "real" music, I am sure there exsist a lot out there.. I am currently using Reason (Propellerhead) for recording voice. I am using Record (Propellerhead too) I am quite happy with it, as I think is userfriendly.
Thanks for sharing, you certainly have talent, keep up the great work!
My favorite is the 'Flowers of Arda', its a wonderful video, really inspiring music and so within the spirit of LotR and Middle-earth, it sure does derserve much more views
It's a shame that so few people will see this post.
I agree. I've sent a PM to Clover to ask if she will consider adding your music to an upcoming issue of the Free Peoples' Press so that it will receive the wider distribution that it deserves.
Thanks to BigSix66 for mentioning this thread to me. We love Achazia's music she has been a past Featured Player and we have featured her excellent blog in the Free People's Press. We will be featuring her again this week so be sure to stop by and check it out.
FireAndBlood, we ask for community submissions every week. You are always welcome to submit your own ideas for featured content. You can email your submissions and ideas to lotro@turbine.com.
Just saw this, as I have been unlucky and hurt my knee this summer, so my focus has been a little different than playing games I am afraid.
I will update this topic soon.
Otherwise I would like to mention that I have finally created a mp3 downloadable EP called "Lost pages" You also find the songs on Spotify, if interested. Is just a little experiement to see if anyone actually find the songs appealing, is just the litte artist inside me, a little dream come true. Hehe. Havent been able to promote it to much unfortunally because of my accident. http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/achazia
The songs you can find on my songcloud page aswell, for free listening
This song is one of my oldest songs, I recently made a audiofriendly version of it. I have played it in Lotro like 4 years though, so some may reckognize it.
On this song I have been so lucky to get help from a friend ingame called Ghrimfrid from the Kin Clan Stoutbeard. He is a guitarist. Myself sing as usual, and create the synthsounds.
Lyrics:
Fire inside (Written by Achy)
The summer has faded and the days turn to dark.
The sky has been lit by million stars..
This garden is hidden, with frost and rhyme,
and the road is weary and hard to walk.
This night, the windows shows many things.
Telling me stories, when I fall into dreams..
Outside, the roses of ice and snow..
This fire inside, gives me peace and calm.
Black eyes that follow., and a voice subsides.
The silence around, reveals some lies..
Distant footsteps, I hear him so well..
I leave this place, no need to stay..
This night, the windows shows many things.
Telling me stories, when I fall into dreams..
Outside, the roses of ice and snow..
This fire inside, gives me peace and calm.
I will remind fellow musican friends about this event we wil host 16 december.
Of course it wil focus on the music we have written. But it also will be a event of different elements like music lyrics and acting.
This is another song I have adapted from ABC to a more audiofriendly version. Many of you may have heard it in Lotro as ABC music already. I hope you liek the audio version too:
Lyrics:
Time, usually pass - swift and quickly,
all I got, recent memories.
Joy, holding a hope - for friends and family
all I want, love and safety
This is my song
to distant memories.......
My Lullaby..
This is your song
to distant memories.......
Your Lullaby..
Hope, that we meet soon - with a ray of laughter,
treasured times, have no warranty,
Tears, that we may shed, in those times when hardest,
with a warm, close embrace of love
This is my song
for the time beeing
to distant memories.......
My Lullaby..
This is your song
to distant memories.......
Your Lullaby..
Peace, usually comes, with thoughts that wander
precious gems. memories are.
Life guiding star, how we live our choices,
Don't relent, make the most of it..
This is my song
to distant memories.......
My Lullaby..
This is your song
to distant memories.......
Your Lullaby..
The first song is a instrumental. Is called Evening twilight (Aduiail)
Here is the poetry written to the song (Written by lovely Hwethlenn/Lhutlinde)
He is my all mystery
Harbinger of the moonless obscurity
Neither golden augustly nor silvery
I come to see him clandestine
The hope's idol sublime
My golden hair graced by thyme
I stand before thee grand
The darksome kiss at hand
Quenching the nightingale's chant
And the bleakness grows
Thus Evening Twilight overcometh me
As on thy deaf ears falls my plea
I would have given myself to thee
A love in vain that has gone sere
He now haunts my fears
Unrecognized the land aged in years
A silent inkling spears
His kisses auguring sweet
But every word outspoken venomous deceit
Within gloaming where is naught but lie and cheat
And the bleakness grows
Thus Evening Twilight overcometh me
As on thy deaf ears falls my plea
I would have given myself to thee
A love in vain that has gone sere
Nightfall - Why have you forgotten what you swore?
Dawn - A princess I was in the days of yore
I will love one day again like I was never hurt before
Over the rim I surrender in dance
You cannot hurt me anymore

Next song is called Forstummet (Silenced) Is a song where I have focused on Nordic Mythologic females, also a mixed with Tolkiens Lore. I wanted to sing in Norwegian because I thought it added some mystic and subtility to it
