Hiya, hello, and Hail fellow Nimrodel players,
You might have noticed that most toons are sticking to either Isengard, Grand Stairs, The Watcher, or the Turtle for their raiding and instances, or 75 level Skirms needs. It's cool that people are doing that because you have every right to do whatever you want in the game, because it's your toon.
I'm making this thread because while you guys are doing that, especially you lifers, VIPers and others who have gotten one or multiple level-capped toons, some of us have toons that aren't at 75 or alts that are in mid-level or early level content, and like myself would love to experience all the content we can possibly soak up without having to power-level to 75 or do only what everyone else is doing.
So what I'm asking is that anyone out there like myself who wants to run through and experience all the content they can post here or find me and friend me in-game to see if on some chance we can run through some of this stuff.
Don't get me wrong, I see a good amount of peeps on the server when I'm online even though by far it's not a prime time for players at least not here in the US, and my bro who is my playing partner sometimes is available for whatever I wanna do usually, and my kinnies are awesome, but there seems to be a general lack of people who wanna do anything other than Isengard, Turtle, GS, or the Watcher.
This is a shout out to all toons on Nimrodel to come here or in game and find anyone you can to set up times to experience all the other in-game content besides Isengard, etc., etc. There's nothing wrong with wanting to do that stuff or only running scaled stuff at 75, but at the same time, I know myself personally am missing out on chances to group and adjust and advance my playstyle by not being at cap, which is my problem, but I also know that on multiple occasions there would be something that myself or some other player might want to experience for the first time, and couldn't because nobody else was interested or it wasn't set to run at 75. That's cool, but shame on you guys who are sitting around just crafting or running end-game content and being bored trolling GLFF or something, cause somebody probably helped walk you through that content when you were still green behind the ears.
Anyway, that's off topic, feel free to come here and get people together because there's all kinds of interesting raids and instances and skirmishes to run and noone to run them with, and in Moria and onwards for example, it's very difficult to find people to run most of them and nearly impossible to solo them, so how do you get to see all the content or finish deeds or anything else like that? Or at least it's hard for me and other players online during the times I'm online
Well maybe this thread will help and the dust can be brushed off of instances liek the Dark Delvings, HoM, WW, DN, and any other instance that people may wanna run, but can't find someone to run them with, like Helegrod
P.S.-Unless I'm particularly tied up in something (running through epics as quick as I can), I tend to play and level at my leasure, but if you send me a tell when you see me online, I'll probably be able to join your party in whatever instance or skirmish or Raid you want to run if I can, and if I can't maybe I can point you to someone who can.
Thanks for reading and hopefully we can run something together soon. (I'm usually on during the week during the day US time)
"My girl, my girl, Don't lie to me, tell me Where did you sleep last night?"
Long story short:
-There is more out there than just Isengard, The Turtle, The Grand Stairs, and The Watcher.
-Some people may want to experience all the other content and like myself are having a very hard time finding anyone in LFF or GLFF to do so. (Helegrod, DN, WW, DD, HoM, The Rift, Fornost)
-Contact people and myself here and in-game to find someone and organize a run through these interesting instances and raids and skirmishes so that if any noobs want to experience this content they can try to find people to do these things with.
Sorry about the excessively long post and it beign only me posting
I tend to get long-winded at times, but hell I'd like to experience everythign in the game at least once and don't want to have to switch servers to find someone to do this content, especially when from the info I gathered Nimrodel is perfect.

seems a solution would be for turbine to develop new entry and mid-game content expansion to create an incentive to new alt creation and playability. Running the same quests and story gets old for the old players, and why would new players start if they need to grind through everything themselves, or walk behind while some maxed player clears everything before they've had time for an induction.
Here's a thought. Let's diversify the other side of the game. monster play at this point is really just an expanded arena map. Maybe Turbine could spend some time developing story and epic content for lvl 1 Creeps to advance through that would also have lvl 1 Freep content so that each side could play a conflict character from the beginning. It would be easy enough to put a lvl based protection in those zones so that you could not attack someone outside 10 levels of your own and you couldn't heal someone outside 5. You would in actuality be 'beneath notice' in those areas.
By grind through themselves I mean that there are few to build fellowships with at lower levels to make a balanced run through anything so the entire experience becomes a solo experience more than multi-player
I agree as I think I see your point, but I have yet to travel in the Moors other than a swift Travel jump point as PvMP isn't exactly my cup'o'tea. I will experiment with the moors when I find the time and the urge takes me to explore into that realm, but i'm mainly wanting to use this thread to help players nooby and old war-horse grinders to connect and run some of the content that is spattered all throughout Middle-Earth as oppossed to just Isengard, three Moria instances out of what 20 or more that came with MoM and SoM, or GB. I know I personally would love to see some content and the higher I level the less likely I'll see it because there aren't peeps who want to run things like DN or DD or 16th Hall and I won't be able to solo some of it I don't think.
I know players who have toons at 75, some just one, some more than one who have never done a lot of things simply because either they couldn't find anyone to do it, or they leveled right past it and never got around to it, and the way I see it is turbine is working hard to put all this content into Middle-Earth for us to experience and whether it's broken, nerfed, or just not that fun, it's a crying shame that it's so hard to find peeps willing to run said content without resorting to asking turbine to create a better system or new rewards for going into the said content. Experiencing it at least once should be a thrill and reward enough especially if it completes a quest or deed for you.
That said, all posts are welcome and you can stray off-topic all you like, but I started this thread so I can find and/or help fellow players of Nimrodel to get together to do the lesser run instances, raids, and skirmishes even the ones that are scaleable, and those not scaled to 75 :P

No problem man, whenever you see me, send me a tell... I'm online and in-game on weekdays from the midmorning ~9-10 am until about 5 pm most weekdays... depending on work and school... kinda hard to play oher than those times as my wife's lappie which is all we have right now is not new enough to run the game... I also have my bro so at the very least when he's awake and you are online we cna three man some of the higher level stuff like Mirkwood and DN Skumfil and the like...

I don't think that the level 75 end-game content "kills" the rest of the game any more than the level 50 content did in SOA, level 60 in MOM, 65 in SOM, etc. It's just the natural evolution of what is now a mature MMO. Yes, I can imagine it is tougher to find people willing to run Moria instances, or the Rift. This has to do with character level distribution. I will offer the same advice I gave someone in GLFF the other day.
Instance resets for Draigoch, Isen and raid skirms occur on Thursday. Trying to do these lower level things on a Thursday, Friday or the weekend and you'll find that many are still busy with their 75s. Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday and the number of people who might shift their attention to alts will increase. I have a level 59 Cappy and level 50 Champ. Often I'll have an eye out for content appropriate for these toons.
And I would caution against taking too many 75s for this earlier content. Might seem like a good idea, and will practically ensure success, but something like the Watcher in Water is an entirely different fight with a level 75 Guard tanking it, level 75 mini providing heals, and a couple level 75 hunters nuking it from orbit.
Please don't spam GLFF though. GLFF is kind of a garbage channel at times anyway (understatement of the century?), but many are quite irritated with requests like "Need more for Rift! 2/12" repeated every 60 seconds in the channel.
Tommac-Mini, Shurmann-Cap, Theodolan-Guard, Thromdir-Hnt - Dancing in the Dark
I agree with you both Parahelion and Teach. I've actually seen you both as well but haven't grouped yet.
I pretty much only play on weekdays (M W and F being the longest I can play) and I don't try to spam on GLFF or any regional LFF, just seems like sometimes it takes forever to get a group together for other content besides the Foundry, or Orthanc LOL. And yet, today alone I was able to do Fornost, which was with great people, but a poorly put together run at an extremely low level, I coulda solo'ed it, the Treasure Hunt for a little while and a full Rift run which was really a fairly well put together grouping with it's own ups and downs and after the Balrog wiped and half the raid left, well the pick ups we got to fight the Balrog one more time were awesome and five to ten minutes later I was riding to my vault to put his sword away for later usage. Guess it's abotu time to buy house now

Gotta agree with OP here. I have a heck of a time finding groups to do even Moria instances (Lumal-Lar, Nala-Dum, Skumfil, Forges, etc), and I've pretty much had to forget about doing anything pre-Moria long ago. I play evenings and weekend EST, maybe this isn't the right server for my time zone? :-)

Nah, this is pretty much a MMO issue as in MMO players are of a wide variety of temperaments. There are players who do all instances when offered, they may seem like rare creatures, but they exist, but the majority of players you meet will be either working on leveling a toon, or running some sort of End-Game content. Also be aware that since the Great River came out, many, many players are doing things there, NOt to mention that if you try to look for people to run things on a thursday through saturday or sunday you might as well forget it, because it's harder to find people to run anythign that isn't Orthanc or Draigoch since people are running those because their locks reset.

A lot of leveling people are new, and thus shy, and thus tend to solo a lot. I know I played for 2 months before I ever joined a group. Being respectful and supportive of noobs would go a long way towards finding lower leveled friends to run with. Not saying you aren't, just saying not everyone has patience. Oh and your sig, isn't that an old Nirvana song?
If you're still looking Myrd, I'll gladly join ya on one of my many alts (more then likely will be my warden or hunter). if i'm on, send a tell and i'll see if i'm free (normally am just crafting)
Your sig is from Nirvana lyrics and so your capable of putting a paragraph together on the forums but your a troll ingame? no wonder I have you on ignore aha!
Hehe. I think it's great when the newer players get into a good group for their first instances and hopefully they can learn easily what to do in what instance depending on class.
Yes, it's a Nirvana song. A cover actually on their Unplugged album of an old Ledbelly song, best song in their entire library imho.
And I'm very articulate in here and in-game, but I like to have fun and sometimes trolling is actually good fun. And ignoring me is the easiest way to not have to see anything I type. ;p
